Contacted this company regarding marketing my business premises by online chat and emailed two different offices including head office in London with absolutely no interest five days later. Amazed at how this apparently big and brash outfit can be so useless and disinterested in a genuine enquiry.Decided to go with local company who agreed on a valuation of £650000 and agreed commission of £9000 when premises sellsIncredible to think carterjonas had no interest whatsoever.

Excellent advice from Wayland and his super-efficient team. We put the house on the market in the middle of summer and achieved an excellent price despite the economic slow down. We chose Carter Jonas to sell our property. Ed was excellent throughout the period. I have to say that initially wasn't impressed with the photographer that took the photos. Speaking to Ed, this was quickly resolved and another photographer was employed and the photos were so much better.Our house sold within the first week. From there everything was fairly smooth and Ed was around to help with questions and queries.

Horrible agency

Horrible agency. They do not care about tenants at all, they fee are ridiculous and very expensive. They charge for everything. They are very tricky with tenants ( read your contacts and everything they give you to sign very careful ).They do only care about money. Consumer services is horrible. I have not met such rude people in my life, I hope never to have to use their services anymore. I was in a difficult situation (and dear I have to pay for it).They take advantage of people.

As I have previously bought a house through carter jonas ( Newbury) we were not expecting the experience we got from the Marlborough office , the first word I will use is rude, the next is shocking, after viewing a house there was no contact from them to see what we thought of the house very very odd, wouldn’t recommend going to carter jonas Marlborough.

Stuck up, horrible people!!!

Terrible service. Terrible manners. Even the homeowner we loved the house of had negative opinions of the agents. We specifically drove 30 miles to speak in person having not managed to get anyone on the phone and they shuffled us out the door within 2 minutes of us arriving, and other people there (some with new-born babies who were being shunned) were all shocked at how they were treating the people who walked in.Stuck up, self-centred, snobby and clearly paid far too much and it's lead to them being far too big in their boots. Really appalling and not any way to treat people in this day and age - people we spoke to were older and 100% not up to date/living in the old ages in their approaches e.g. bordering on bullying and saying degrading comments. We were left absolutely speechless at some of their choices of words. Definitely avoid if possible. Completely shocked at how unprofessional they were. Very tempted to raise to HQ but how blatantly they were behaving stopped us as it's clearly normal for them and they must be accepted for this to happen - must be allowed from the top down! AVOID this agency!!!Chasing calls on viewings wouldn't work, emails wouldn't work, going out our way to do a "walk in" to the office didn't work... they need lessons in decorum and manners to put it frankly. A complete joke.
