Terrible experience with this company. Had to fight for my deposit which they made unnecessarily difficult. They supported a landlord who said the property was uninhabitable when the independent check out report confirmed as 'good'. 6 months to get deposit back from TDS who awarded us £2,500 of the deposit and the landlord £100 after he tried to claim for £4500! Would never use this company again, avoid!

I wish I could give this letting agency zero stars. They have completely breached our contract and shown a total lack of professionalism. Upon moving in, the house was absolutely filthy, with rubbish in back garden. The state of the property was uninhabitable, clearly, no cleaning had been done. On top of that, broken window and door glass was shattered, posing a serious safety risk.

GoogleI've sold my property not long ago and Kate and Robert had helped me so much through the process as it was my first time. They kept me informed in every detail and went above and beyond when I emailed asking the most pointless questions 😆 Even after I sold the property, the new owners kindly passed on some letters of mine I hadn't changed details over of yet and Kate kindly forwarded those letters to my new address with no hassle. Such lovely, warm, caring and attentive staff who do a brilliant job! Thank you for everything Sze

GoogleWe had a very positive experience selling our home through Gascoigne Halman. After another local agency let us down and failed to procure us a buyer, we turned to Gascoigne Halman. Kate at the Altrincham office was wonderful at communicating with us and with our buyer, ultimately leading to a timely and smooth sale of our property. Professional throughout and quick to respond to queries. Thank you to the team at Gascoigne Halman Altrincham, who thanks to them, we are now happily moved into our new home.

GoogleUnprofessional to the highest level and very rude in my 6 years as an investor buying and selling I have never experience estate agents like them. Why are they still trading is beyond me or why would someone use them? All reviews say the same issue of unprofessional rude treatment might be part of their training ''Tom'' was a joke to deal with thanks for the experience, in short, give them 5star for you get what you pay for.

Recently bought a house and dealt with agent Georgia Day who was fabulous from start to finish. No qualms with recommending her and the team at Macclesfied. Overall, it took around 4-5 months and Georgia just kept pushing for us to be moved in by Christmas which finally happened. Thanks, Georgia!

Informed us that the property we were moving out of had been re-let. We then rushed to clear and deep clean the property. Rang several times on the day with no answer to then be told any day before Thursday would be ok. We were then informed by another call 10 minutes later that the property had infact not been re-let. Severe lack of communication therefore making us pay another month rent & bills.

We've just bought a property through Gascoigne Halman and they have been super helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Tracy Ryan in the Frodsham office has been lovely and always responded to our queries (however bizarre! We have asked a lot of questions haha!) promptly and happily! We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.
