Responded to us really quickly in regard to the property and kept us updated all the time, had a slight issue when moving in and the ladies in the agency dealt with the whole thing! Extremely unprofessional company.Absolutely no communication skills with each other (or with us as the landlords). This resulted in us losing money, and money being taken incorrectly on several occasions.Whenever an issue was raised with Stephen, we had to send numerous emails over weeks to receive any answers as to what was going on. They always had to be chased up, and would never email on their own to let us know what was happening.When an issue had been raised, some staff would send patronising emails, rather than trying to solve the issue, especially Chloe and Lauren. This was just another area of unprofessionalism that was shown.A company that was sent to take photos to assess damage to the property was appalling. They 'forgot' to take photographs of important areas that had been damaged, such as the flooring that had come up.A tenant reported a leak to the company, which was not reported to us at all (again a lack of communication). This resulted in us having to pay over 1500 pounds for a new floor.We were told that no further money was owed to the company, and all that was left to sort was the amount of deposit money that would be returned to us for damages to the property. When we received this, hundreds of pounds had been deducted from the company, with no explanation as to what this was and why this was deducted.On another occasion, we told the company not to carry out an annual gas check as the tenant was leaving. They ignored this, did not even bother to let us know that they had carried this out until over 2 months later when we continuously questioned what was going on. We never received this money back, and despite emails proving the lack of communication, not even an apology was given.It became extremely obvious that this is simply a money making business, with no regard for the customer. We originally had Bridgfords in full control of the property, however with every necessary repair, they would always quote ridiculous amounts compared to any other company that we dealt with. They tried to take money off us at every opportunity, again with a lack of explanation and no actual service.We have numerous properties, and would definitely not recommend this company, or use them to manage any of our properties in the future. A huge improvement in communication and professionalism needs to be made.

GoogleRheanna and Bridgfords have been fantastic in making the process of renting as smooth as possible. They are always available to take queries and responses to emails are always quick. They are one of the few estate agents I have dealt with where I can be guaranteed of a speaking to person or getting call back when I have been promised one. The communication level is excellent and they have made the process of securing a rental property quick and easy.

GoogleI have used Bridgfords for over 3 years looking after my 1 bed flat. Both Amber and Elisha were brilliant throughout, clear communication and being a great go-between with myself and my tenant. I am also selling my flat through the Sales team and Edward has been very helpful too. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleThis is a wonderful and very helpful Agent! I am the oversea(Hong Kong) Landlord of the UK property.Its really difficult for me to manage my house in such a far away place. Had to call numerous times over two days before someone answered, waited a week for the viewing to be called two two hours before for confirmation I was attending, then one hour before they call again and cancel because someones car broke down. Absolute pants.

I visited a number of estate agents in Halifax Centre last week and Bridgfords were the best by far. On entry I was welcomed by Courtney who went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry. She took my details and added me to the mailing list for updates and has been actively sending properties that may be of interest to me ever since. Her colleague Alix was also really helpful. You can feel that the culture here is all about the people & customer. The estate agent I went to prior (not mentioning any names but very, very close to Bridgfords) had me sitting around for 10 minutes whilst on a call then reluctantly gave me a print out of a property that already had 25 people booked to view the next day (a pointless exercise, just fob me off why don't you) He didn't even take my details and I felt as though he couldn't wait to go for his lunch. Now that's what bad customer service. But Bridgfords do not deserve bad press. May I urge you to please take no notice of the bad reviews below because the team here are warm, welcoming & lovely and good at what they do so keep you heads high, because you deserve a big well done! :)

After being shown a property for rent I…After being shown a property for rent I informed the agent from Bridgfords in Sale that I’d like to put an offer in. The agency said she’d call later that day to talk me through the checks required ect and how to proceed. No call me no response from texts from the agent. When I called the office I was informed an offer was put in the day after I’d viewed the place and it was now off the market!! How was I not able to put an offer in. Had my time wasted be lied too. Had to take time out of work during a busy period to be ignored. Stay well clear of Bridgfords in sale. I won’t mention the agents name publicly as much as I’d like too
