I trust their advice and know they are there to look after my best interests. TrustpilotAccepted offer, took in deposit, passed referencing, agreed move in day, the property didn't have an EPC!!!
After all the hassle of referencing, paying 1 week holding deposit, agreeing move in date, having signed a pre contract, I was told I couldn't move in since the property didn't have an EPC, didn't have a heating system, the leaving tenants lived 11 years at the Property, and they had to buy and install radiators themselves, that of course would take with them since the Landlord refused to pay for.I trusted the Agent, Radyah Sultana, who sent me a video of the Property and assured me everything was fine and of course I could trust Ernest-Brooks reputation.The leaving Tenants never paid for TV Licence since the property wasn't even registered, didn't pay for Council Tax for 6 years either due to the same issue.The Flat and Building would never pass a Council Revision, and this is something Ernest-Brooks International knows perfectly well. The building looks like it will fall apart, only stairs (no lift) that don't comply with the minimum Health and Safety of the Council, no Emergency Exit, no Fire Extinguishers, extremely dangerous.I was told to wait 1, 2 or who knows how many weeks to be able to move in. Initial agreed move in date was the 17th of July, and then I was told maybe the 24th of July would be possible.Of course I told them to return my deposit and I walked away from this horrible Agency and Flat.Please don't trust them, they have no empathy, moral values, or decency towards the Tenants.Only very fast to take money. Absolute scammers.Stay away, not reputable at all.Response to the Updated Ernest-Brooks Response:What are you trying to do? Hi Mariana, thank you for the review. Whilst we take reviews seriously and look to grow from them, there is some factually incorrect remarks, how the building looks was the same as when you placed an offer, a prior tenants TV bill is not to do with our company either. We are sorry the experience you had was not up to our usual 5* standard and immediately refunded your holding deposit. We have since received the correct EPC from the Landlord and further information from the landlords prior tenants (who were managed by another agency not us!), due to the prior tenant having no link to us, we are only privy to certain information. We are sorry this process was not up to standard on this occasion and I would like to apologise on behalf of our lettings team. There was nothing malicious intended and a mere lack of information from the landlord / prior agent passing the flat over to us. We hope you found a nice place to call home and should you wish to let us show you a better side please do reach out once again!

Our sale with Ernest Brooks was swift, professional and importantly, at the right price. Having been on the market for a few months not too long before (with a different estate agents) I was unsure how the process would go. But Zhiqi led the charge in the sale of our flat, with a buyer found within a few weeks and market/ asking price achieved. All at Ernest brooks were knowledgeable, honest, punctual and clear with their communications to us. Helpfully we then had a sales progressor, Maglin, who facilitated the resolution of outstanding queries and got the sale over the line. So glad we chose Ernest Brooks, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
