GoogleIn the middle of the actual Covid-19 crisis Elms lied us on letting us know we were going to have a reduction the rent, which seemed true until the day the contract ended that they took that part from the deposit... A very unfair situation for people who struggles to pay their rent in those difficult moments. Furthermore, we were told they were going to release us from the contract as soon as they could find a new replacement tenants, then were no even trying it. GoogleThe WORST estate agents I have had the mispleasure to have dealings with. Absolute CONMEN. We were supposed to have moved into our flat after being pushed to move in weeks earlier than we had wanted. The place was a still building site, absolutely un inhabitable. We dealt with a thoroughly rude and patronising estate agent (Jade) who laughed in our faces when we said this was unacceptable. She also tried to intimidate and threaten us, claiming if we made a fuss the landlord could pull out (not true since we can’t be evicted currently due to Covid). As well as ignoring our emails. The work STILL hasn’t been completed and we are left without a home. The estate agent has said the property is fine to move into however there is building work everywhere still ongoing, we have no hobs and the bathroom is unusable. Some of our housemates have chronic asthma and therefore it is unsafe for them to be in the property. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ESTATE AGENT.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

ABYSMAL experience with elms estates. Where to begin. we were supposed to move in on the 14th to our property after being pushed to move in earlier than we wanted. The place was a building site kitchen and bathroom unusable no hob dirt EVERYWHERE. Could not live there if you paid me. When we emailed and rang saying this was unacceptable we were laughed at and threatened that that landlord would pull out (untrue). We were lied to and intimidated by elms estates and Jade who we had dealings with. The most unprofessional woman I have ever experienced. Weeks later the work has not been finished and some of the work has been botched. Eventually they stopped replying to all emails and when we rang they always said they’d get back to us and never did this has been going on for weeks. They would lie to our faces about when things were supposed to be delivered and works completed. It has been a massive emotion strain dealing with these people and has tarnished the moving experience irreparably

YellTerrible communication
I had a viewing for a flat scheduled for today with an estate agent named Gabriele. Despite only arranging the viewing 24 hours ago she did not turn up to the appointment, gave no notice that this would be the case and ignored the five calls I gave her. She did not respond to text messages and after 30 minutes I left. I had travelled 45 minutes across London, out of my way, to make this this viewing after a long day at work. I understand that she probably just forgot, what I cannot tolerate is her not having the courtesy to answer her phone or reply to my message.

GoogleGreat local estate agent. Highly recommended. I would buy through this estate agent over any other if the opportunity arose, they have excellent knowledge of the area and they're honest and helpful. I've also had superb service from Elms as a landlord. the staff are friendly, efficient and they take all the stress out of property management, which is very important to me. Well worth trying if you're buying or letting as property.

GoogleIn my 7 years of renting in London, Elms hands down have been the best Estate Agent I've dealt with. My partner and I rented a little flat off them for 2.5 years. During that time whatever went wrong (broken showers, washing machines, mould issues, etc) Elms dealt with it swiftly and decisively. Special mention for Jade, who was always super lovely to deal with no matter the drama.

GoogleI had the worse experience ever while renting with elms. They continued to charge us rent for living in a mouldy, water logged flat that only 2 months in didn’t something about. We hassled them daily about our issue but just they just palmed us off. They are slow, lazy and will do everything on the cheap.

GoogleI bought a property through Elms four years ago, and they have managed it for me ever since. It's like having an experienced, professional team of friends & family looking after your place! They are efficient, responsive, and have done an excellent job in everything from arranging emergency repairs to finding quality tenants at difficult times. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Long established, experienced, knowledgable, well trained staff, always helpful, reliable, honest (no BS). Seriously, they are a beacon in the sometimes murky world of estate agency.

As I understand the situation though, you are looking to terminate your Legally Binding Tenancy Agreement early and my colleagues are trying to facilitate this by finding new tenants in order to release you from your Tenancy Agreement.
