We just sold a small

We just sold a small apartment through Ellis and Co. It was a highly positive experience overall. They are professional and honest. Ellis and Co will give you a realistic appraisal of what the property may fetch. They won't promise sky high prices, but nevertheless they try very hard to generate as many viewings and offers. They know the N15 and N17 area well and thus know how to market the property effectively. After an offer is agreed on, they follow through the process (I now realize chasing solicitors is not an easy task!) They do not pressure you to accept offers you are not comfortable with. The sale process is not always smooth sailing and our initial buyer pulled out. Ellis and Co quickly remarketed the property promptly and without additional charges. Great job done and I am glad we engaged Ellis and Co. Highly recommended.

My partner and I were first time buyers and started looking in December 2013 at a point when the property market went crazy! We had dealings with several estate agents in the Stoke Newington/Tottenham area and are ultimately extremely happy that we saw the process through to completion with Ellis and Co. They were very easy to deal with, always quick to respond to questions and requests and very accommodating at all times. Their straightforward attitude and stress free approach was just what we needed as first time buyers and I'm in no doubt that their level of service would be very hard to come by at larger, more corporate agencies. My property was being let after a period with long term tenants therefore I found the advice provided by the agents to be very helpful in terms of type and standard of refurbishment required, possible tenants and realistic expected rental. Once the house was refurbished they were able to provide me with excellent tenants, with good references who moved in in October 2012. The tenants have been excellent so far, rent paid on time, property being respected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this agent to any Landlord.

I recently sold my property

I recently sold my property through Ellis & Co in West Green Road, and I would thoroughly recommend them. Throughout the whole process, I was kept updated, my emails/phone calls were answered promptly and the staff were always courteous, patient, well-informed and professional. In addition, they were helpful without being 'pushy' in the slightest, which further increased my confidence in them. They also managed this property when I rented it out for several years previously, and during that time they consistently maintained the same high standards. In the past, I have dealt with several estate agents for selling, buying and renting, and (in my experience at least), they do unfortunately often deserve the bad press they get. However, Ellis & Co in N15 are in a completely different class, and are an example of what good quality estate agents services can be - it was a welcome surprise to discover them. They are the best agents I have done business with for both selling and renting property, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

For all my properties in

For all my properties in Tottenham I only use Ellis and Co/ West Green Road. The service is excellent. Low turnover of staff so I always meet the same people and this makes the Landlord and Agent relationship very personal. I know they take great care whom they place in my properties and if they feel the tenant is not right we do not procced thereby avoiding bad situations. I am also left with the feeling that they value the Landlord and Agent relationship over an above the commission and this give me the confidence to go back time and time again. No hesitation in receommending them to any other Landlords in the area.

I wish the Agent would pay

I wish the Agent would pay more attention to keeping items well maintained plus the way the Tenants uses the Fridge, Washing Machine, furnitures etc and ensure that New Items bought for the Property on behalf of the Landlord are not condemned immediately they are off the Warranty period (12 months) in favour of buying new ones for the Property. That will reduce the expenses of keeping the Tenant and make the Investment Property more worthwhile.

Trying to get a viewing for a flat but all the agents say is somone will call and make a viewing arrangement. Nobody calls. Looks like all agents are available only in offices taking calls but at the ground there is nobody to show the property. They shouldn't take responsibility of something which they cannot fulfill.
