I can not recommend John Lake highly enough. We have today completed on a very complex move which had lots of hurdles along the way. All of the staff at John Lake have gone above and beyond at all stages. If you want an estate agent who really cares about their clients, then this is the agent to use. I dread to think the hours they work as we have had phone calls outside of office hours to ensure we receive timely information and on several occasions they have delivered paperwork to us at home to save us having to go into the office. They have been so supportive and no query is too big or small for them. The staff are always friendly and give a personal service taking the time to get to know their clients. Recently purchased through John Lake and can honestly say it was the best estate agency experience we have had in over 30 years of buying and selling. I moved to John Lake Estate Agents from another Estate Agents after being disappointed in the interest that I was getting in my property. As soon as I moved to them, I immediately got more viewings!!!. Whilst Brexit and COVID did effect the speed of selling my property, at every stage when the housing market was open I got lots of viewings and soon agreed a sale. I wish I had chosen John Lake’s initially!!. I think being a long standing and local estate agent works in their favour and many local residents trust them more than a national firm with their house moving experience. All the members of staff that I dealt with were professional, helpful and did their very best to help me with my queries. Their communication was always very prompt which was particularly helpful when my buyers had a few issue with the sale of their own property. Helen and Suzanne in particular were excellent at chasing clients in the chain / relevant solicitors in order to move the sale along to exchange of contracts.
