I recently bought my first home through John Lake Estate Agents and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Paul was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and was always just a phone call away whenever I needed anything. As a first-time buyer, that level of support and reassurance made a huge difference. Paul and the team were professional, responsive and clearly very experienced. They acted for the seller very professionally during the negotiation process too - although I have to admit, I did wish Paul wasn’t quite so good at negotiating! That said, I genuinely felt the deal was fair for both sides, and I’m very happy I went ahead. Buying a home can be stressful, but John Lake made the whole experience feel far smoother and more manageable. I cannot praise them enough, and should I ever decide to sell this property in the future, I would absolutely and without doubt use them again. Highly recommended.

This was the first time o used John Lake to rent out my house in Babbacombe. They have been fantastic. My property was advertised across many well known platforms including Rightmove. Steve was very conscientious and attended to all details with precision and care. The promotions attracted a good number of potential tenants and Steve provided me with detailed information about each, allowing me to make a well-informed choice. Thankfully, I now have some great new tenants. George and Sue were also really helpful attending to all the necessary paperwork. All went above and beyond to get things finalized. A big thank you. I couldn't wish for a better estate agents than John Lake Lettings. From the management of Steve and the team, they are the most professional, reliable, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the properties they advertise. They always have time for me every time I visit the office or telephone to help with any queries I have. What an experience ! Thank you so much for a superb renting experience with you in Babbacombe, Torquay. What an informative and thorough check-in for a fabulous property with a very interesting artistic and historical background.
