I purchased a very nice apartment through John Lake, from start to finish I found them to be absolutely first class. Being relatively new to Torbay I found they had extensive knowledge and experience of the area, their service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble throughout the whole process. I learnt that the property I bought had previously been on sale for some time with another agent, yet having had the property for less than 2 weeks John Lake had already had one offer when I was looking at the property. They have vast experience of the local market, are excellent at valuing and marketing properties, I will certainly return to them when I plan to sell this apartment in the next few years. Highly recommended

I had a phone call from John Lake and he was extremely rude and unprofessional, in fact, I was both angry and upset when I got off the phone call to the point I used my own devices to trace who he was and leave a review. John called me for information I was more than happy to give but projected nothing but a bad attitude and tone of voice. I hope in the future you speak to people how you wish to be spoken to yourself. I have never been spoken to so appallingly. It was both undeserved and unneeded. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Their professionalism, reliability, honest and integrity is unquestionable. I don't hesitate to give them my full personal recommendation and if you want to contact me directly I'll be more than happy to confirm that support. I've just noticed a so-called 'review' on here from 'Charles Gaskings', a dummy account, clearly from a competitor of John Lake Estate Agents. It's very sad to see that some people in this world spend their time trying to bring other people down rather than to step up their own game. Which reminds of a saying... There are 2 ways to own the tallest building in the city. 1) To knock down all the other buildings. 2) To build the tallest building in the city. Keep up the good work guys, you are doing a great job!

Really great estate agents We rented a property with them for 18 months and nothing was too much trouble If a problem had arose with the property they were on it that day In fact, once a builder turned up an hour after the problem was logged. At Christmas they sent a card with all emergency numbers on it which was immensely treasuring Great job guys and thank you
