Unfortunately we let the property over the weekend so the property was not available to view. I am sure that this property was not the only viewing you were travelling down for. We apologise but the alternative was to waste your time by going ahead with the viewing. We do not have your correspondence address on the system anyway so did not know where you were coming from for the viewing. We did offer you alternative properties to view which you declined.

I had to send two messages for the same property as they were not contacting me, rang them, the young lady on the phone told me I would have to wait again to be contacted. When explained that I should have had been contacted already she got impatient and told me that I would have to wait more or try to fill in the form again to visit the property. I did it a third time, but got absolutely 0 replies. Very untrustworthy!

Dear Andreia,
There is a record demand for rental properties, we receive in excess of 50 enquiries for most properties we advertise and can only book viewings for 4-6 potential tenants at a time.
If you are not successful in being in that initial group we simply don’t have the time to call back the other 40 applicants as we then have to switch our focus on the next property that our landlords have employed us to let.
If the first block viewing does not result in us finding a suitable tenant we then contact another 4-6 people and continue to do so until we secure a tenant.
We have an extra staff member starting with us at the end of the month to help us with the demand but with a lack of rental properties across the market generally it shows no sign of easing.
Those agents with more time to call everyone back may well have less properties available to rent, according to Rightmove stats we let the most properties in Torbay each year.
It is always disappointing when someone who has not actually been a client of ours reviews us purely because demand is so high.
