GoogleWe found the most beautiful property of our dreams to rent Charlie from. Absolute and the whole of her team including Jemma and Macy were so helpful and kind and always at the other end of the phone I could not speak more highly of them any issue I had got resolved immediately. GoogleI’m not sure where to begin with the review. I had the misfortunate task of helping my friend sort his affairs as he needed to move into a care home and subsequently market his bungalow. I spoke to another agent that had a property two doors up for sale but they were very dismissive over the phone and said there would not take the property on. I went into the Paignton office and spoke to Nicky and explained the situation. She offered to visit the property and gave me to some really good advice. This was despite the fact I might not be able to get back to her to market the property. A few weeks down the line I was able to make contact again and she arranged to visit my friend to take instruction. She took the keys on Thursday and the property had viewings that weekend and as a result offers were made and the property was then sold. Nicky kept me up to date and guided me through the process as I had never sold a property before. She was very patient and understanding when there were delays with the solicitors and advised me what to do. I would not hesitate to use the agency in future and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell their property.

GoogleAs landlords we have been using Absolute Sales and Lettings for several years. Having recently refurbished our property it went back on the rental market at the end of April. Our Property Manager Kate Harris at the Paignton office marketed our property superbly. The photographs and her description of the property were excellent. Within 48 hours of going live it had received over 2500 views. During arranged viewings two days later we were able to offer the tenancy to our current tenants. Pretty impressive, thank you Kate.

When I needed to do a large renovation of my property in 2025, Trish expertly guided me through the process of regaining access to my property, arranging quotes for the work, instructing the contractors and then, once the work was complete, re-marketing the property for rent. GoogleI will preface by saying that this review relates to lettings rather than sales. The tenancy itself was fine and the moving-in process was quick and seamless. However, communication once I was a tenant, particularly regarding a request requiring permission under my tenancy agreement, was disappointing and ultimately left unresolved, with no clear definitive response despite several follow-up attempts.

GoogleMoved into a flat through absolute around a year and half ago, during my tour it was quick and I hadn’t looked close enough being my first ever one to notice details not until I moved in with my baby, a few problems included pained over mould, dirty walls, dirty sides, dirty oven, wires all out, peeling of the paint on heater, scratches on all furniture and walls, cooker and sides dirty. After noticing all of these I knew I was gonna find somewhere else after my year lease, when found a new property requested my deposit, it was waited to the last week even after my keys were handed back early and around 4-5 weeks before they also had the audacity to charge over 450 for a clean and 100 and something for lights which was built in and I never touched or needed to change! Very stressful for first time attempting to move careful to be vigilant on viewing properties for this as wasn’t stated and good luck with your deposits!
I’ve taken a quick look at your move out inventory and I’m afraid I can see why that we had to withhold some of your deposit, the oven looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time for example. With regards to the condition when you moved in, if it was that bad you obviously shouldn’t have taken it. There was also the opportunity to dispute the condition of the property when you move in via the inventory. If you didn’t agree with the deduction there is a process for the claim to be adjudicated. We do not benefit from any deposits, it all goes to the landlord to cover making things right. We’d always prefer properties to be returned in the same condition they were when the tenants move in, it would make our jobs much easier, but unfortunately that is not always the case.
