Throughout the whole process, Frank and his team were amazing. Nothing was simple about our sale or purchase but we always knew, Frank was at the end of the phone with calm and sensible advice for us. Shannon carried out our viewings and was mindful of how anxious having people in our home was unsettling for us. Everything was fine in the end but very lengthy. I am really not sure why these things take so long in the UK and it seems that there are so many interested parties (solicitors). I appreciate your office getting more than the revised asking price (£15000 extra) and I guess that is the most important thing for most people I would have preferred to have one point of contact rather than another team appointed to deal with the post offer processes. I was unsure who to contact at times and then one person left the company suddenly. However, having said this, I would recommend you. Thank you. Stuart

5 * service from Absolute We’ve now been in our property for a couple of months and thought it was about time I left a review. Special mention to Shannon in particular- Shannon managed to get us booked in for a “pre market” viewing at a property that she felt we would love. We recently purchased a house through Absolute. The team were so helpful, friendly and quick to respond throughout the process. They didn't make us feel rushed or pressured and helped to keep the momentum going when our purchaser's solicitors needed a nudge. We noticed a difference in how they conducted tours of the homes they sold compared to other local agents, Shannon from Absolute seemed a lot more knowledgeable about the property than other local agents had been about their properties, and she pointed out how each different features of the home could work for us. The whole thing seemed to stall at some point but Tina in the sales progression team picked it up and was very supportive in chasing different parts of the chain and getting our soliciotors moving. Really unprofessional and disappointing service. Still not received my deposit back after having to wait over 3 months since moving out. I have been told that they cannot access the deposit scheme to request the deposit and instead it is still with a prior letting agent after having changed letting agent over 1 year previous to that. Many phone calls and emails later and still not closer to getting my deposit back. I would recommend that anyone who is renting with absolute should check that absolute actually have access to the deposit scheme used. The lack of responsibility taken by absolute has been really unsettling. Management were very rude and unhelpful.

The team at the Shaldon office, most especially Mia did an amazing job, above and beyond, on our purchase. It was similarly very positive with our sale via Peter at the Dawlish office. Previously, we found a larger local estate agent unbelievably poor, with a couldn't be bothered attitude, and if they thought that we weren't serious buyers/sellers they couldn't have been further from the truth. With the team effort at Absolute, we had a buyer in 10-days, allowing us to formalise our purchase offer soon afterwards. Relied on Absolute this month to get me Moved as I’ve been facing homelessness. It’s like getting blood out of a stone just to get them to return your calls. Facing homelessness and I’ve managed to arrange two viewings this month, the ones I’ve applied for I can’t even get any news on because they won’t get back to me. For weeks now I’ve been calling and asking them to return my calls. One letting agent for the whole of Torquay is ridiculous and your making your clients suffer for it. Any other agency will treat you with respect and a sense of urgency. Hands down the worst experience of any estate agent I’ve spoken to this month. As a landlord as well I don’t see why you would let such an incompetent agency do your business for you. I can think of 4 properties that could’ve been filled this month that just haven’t been because this agency is unresponsive.

Frank was very pro-active in helping us to purchase our apartment. He facilitated multiple viewings (three in total, I think!), fielded many questions, negotiated on our behalf and followed up with us after completion to help with additional keys, property snags etc. The team at Absolute also gave us a moving in box with various goodies you need on day 1 which was a very nice touch.
