if you want to pay over the odds for zero service, conducting viewings yourself, putting off potential buyers by insisting that they see their in house financial advisor before they can book a viewing and CHARGING them for the pleasure, if you want to be ignored when things aren't going smoothly, and you're happy to be completely ripped off, then darlows are the one for you! the worst mistake we ever made was putting our house on the market with darlows.

Very disappointed in my experience of viewing one of the new build properties in hirwaun, I met with Louise who was very lovely no issues with her however her knowledge on the properties were non existent. The property was filthy and the toilet was USED AND NOT CLEANED after the builders 🤢 what had the potential to be a beautiful new build house did not feel that way at all! Apparently they’re all done exactly the same when in fact the kitchens are very different the only similarity is the layout. Carpets are not included in a 195k property and apparently no new builds supply carpets, when in fact WDL sell a 3 bed fully floored for less than 195k overall experience and knowledge was poor! I had lots of questions about the propertly that couldn’t be answered, very disappointed 😔

Originally left a glowing review but after the process and experience I’ve had in completion of a sale I can honestly say I will never sell my house or buy a house from Darlows, this is mainly because they use Spicketts Battrick “solicitors” they’re absolutely atrocious, I haven’t used their “in house” solicitors, which is what is pushed on you, they’re also a hell of a lot more expensive so please do your research for your own solicitor, however it’s still having an adverse affect because the seller is using them! When calling Darlows nobody answers and concierge is hit or miss wether your call back will be done (again today no call back, no surprise as they didn’t even ask for my number or property relation, just my name) We were also lied to last week from a staff member in Darlows and given information that wasn’t even relating to our account and told to not call them they’ll call us with an update, we were told a survey was needed (already done) no surveys being done at the moment due to covid (our property is vacant so was done weeks ago) we’re completing on Friday so just goes to show how wrong they were! extremely poor service I’m so very disappointed in such a big company. Shocking
