My elderly mother purchased a property through Wards in Tenterden. There were several problems with the chain and Becky, Tina, Alex, David and Claire from Wards were all absolutely brilliant and helped to sort out all the issues. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Mum definitely couldn't have done it without them.

We were served with a section 21 no fault eviction notice. I phoned up Wards regarding a property that i saw advertised, and a lovely lady called Jade dealt with my phone call. She was very honest about the property I was interested in viewing, telling me that the landlord was looking to sell this property in the future. After taking all my details, she informed me of a property that was just about to come onto the rental market. We were interested but wouldn't be able to view for a couple of weeks as we were going on holiday. After an hour of getting off of the phone, Jade called me back to say the landlord had dropped in the keys, and we were able to arrange a viewing for that afternoon.

GoogleWe bought our first house with Wards at the start of this year. The process of purchasing a house once our offer was accepted and the communication was great and they were very supportive with any struggles with our solicitors. However, the viewing process was quite mismatched. We appeared to have two to three agents suggesting houses for us, which of course meant we had endless amounts of properties to review. This would have been fine however they overlooked what we had previously outlined as our criteria and it felt quite pressured at times - but I guess it is their job is sales!

GoogleWe can’t recommend Wards enough! We put our house on the market when I was 38 weeks pregnant and sold when our little girl was 10 days old. Honi and James were excellent and kept us up to date every step of the way. However, Jane Baker (Sales Progressor) is an absolute angel!!! We had so many problems with our chain and she was forever chasing solicitors to find out what was going on. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was professional, helpful and amazing at all times! We are looking forward to our move now and truly think we wouldn’t be moving if it wasn’t for Jane’s hard work. Thank you Wards!

GoogleWe recently purchased our first home through Wards and couldn't be happier with the service we received. From the start Honi was amazing at understanding exactly what we were looking for and helped to arrange viewings so quickly. She was an absolute dream and always so polite and friendly. Once our offer was accepted Jane Baker took over the sale progress and was absolutely fantastic. Jane always provided timely updates and kept us in the loop with every step of the way. Due to our chain the sale took longer than expected but Jane never failed to keep chasing and was always so understanding when dealing with my frustrations and was a real comfort to know someone cared. Would never hesitate to use Wards of larkfield for any future moves.

Keryn showed us around a beautiful property on Saturday- We were really impressed with her knowledge of the period property and the little less obvious details she pointed out- we were also struck by her genuine nature and very human approach to the showing. It was unusual to have a people-centred outlook shared by an estate agent, so very impressed with this agent. Although the property wasn't the one for us, but the agent really impressed us.

To start with, we had to do the majority of our viewings ourselves, as they never had anyone available. Then they recommended a buyer, for less than we wanted. Convinced us they were a good buyer, then after the house was off market for two months we found out the buyer was never in a position to proceed. Didn't have stamp duty. Wards are supposed to vet buyers, that's what we pay them for. Would not recommend.

Thank you, Leah Peacock! We had multiple issues with the house we rent out and Leah worked tirelessly on our behalf chasing quotes and organising an electrical refit as well as a new boiler installation. On top of this, we had to have a tree removed, too!! We cannot thank her enough for her patience, good humour and professionalism whilst guiding us through this process. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we really appreciate it.

GoogleWe worked with Alex at Wards of Larkfield and we thought she was extremely professional and responsive. The way she handled our house hunting seemed as if she was buying a property for herself - always thoroughly responding to our questions, and engaged, providing general knowledge about the local schools and following up with us the next day. I found all the staff very helpful and got back to me quickly when I left messages, but the best person for me was Maria Meddings as she acted as a go-between me and the buyers solicitor which made things a lot easier and if it wasn't for her I don't think the completion would have happened. She was very kind, thoughtful and very helpful in everything. Five out five.
