GoogleWould highly recommend! As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and welcoming faces. Everyone was eager to help and share their knowledge. James was a lovely person to deal with, he arranged a prompt appointment to view the property and answered any question I had, also gave great recommendations.

It was a long chain, but your team really helped through all the stages to keep it all moving along. GoogleExtremely helpful in assisting us to find a house, understood our concerns that we wanted very long term rental and helped with us getting the house we are in now. Fantastic service when any issues with the house which are quickly solved within very timely manner. Nikki has been very supportive for us as have other staff members too. Would most certainly reccommend and I have on a few occasions to friends. Best agents in Reading who listen to needs and help find ideal housing.

GoogleExcellent service from Village Properties on our house sale. You only know how good your Estate Agent is when things go wrong. We had a stressful time with our chain falling apart 3 times but Village Properties were there to save the day. The two Charlie’s and Mike were brilliant at rescuing the situation each time. The progression of the sale of our property was handled by Sarahjane who was totally efficient in liaising with all the right people and ensuring the sale was concluded smoothly. They all put up with my moaning and remained good humoured throughout. I can’t recommend them highly enough, it’s great to have such a good business in Tilehurst.

GoogleI have both brought and sold through village properties twice, the most recent being just before Christmas, I always found everyone I dealt with to be fantastic. At a time when things were very stressful they were brilliant, not only were they professional, understanding & extremely helpful they went above and beyond, calls were returned straight away and we were always keep informed and in the loop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Charlie Higgs, Mike Haas, Charlie Hayes and Sarahjane Smart were all equally amazing.

I was amazed with the quality of service and it was really refreshing to interact with an agent who truly cares about their clients. Sarah Jane was really supportive with chasing solicitors to ensure we meet Stamp Duty deadline and she kept us updated on the progress throughout the purchase. I could not recommend them enough!

GoogleWe are in the process of buying a property from Village properties, it's a chained property, which as usual takes longer than a vacant property and can be frustrating at times with all the waiting but in the process the staff have been very quick to inform us about the progress at every stage. Charlie Hayes is a very friendly guy who got us the property. Mike and Sarah Jane have been helpful too.

GoogleBeth in the lettings department is just brilliant. She has now rehomed me twice… the first time she was on the hunt for something for me & my daughter as my previous (then current) property was a bit of a nightmare! She found a perfect home and she was genuinely excited that she had been THAT person. 3 years on after being notified that my landlord was selling her property, Beth remained calm and personable about my situation. She personally picked properties that she thought I’d like/be suitable, in a timely fashion (as I had 2months to move) and I fell in love with the first one she showed me. From there she made the process so easy, reassured me & guided me through some of the paperwork. I really feel like I was heard, I was important & she just made the whole experience less stressful. She is reliable and doesn’t wait about to get this sorted/booked - whatever the query she is always on the other end of the phone. So THANKYOU. Never sack this lady because she’d be very tricky to replace!

GoogleVillage Properties Tilehurst have always provided me with excellent service, both in managing a rental property, and also in connection with a house sale. They've been my managing agents of choice continuously for the last 10 years and I have no intention of that changing! In particular, both Beth and Sarahjane have regularly gone over and above what I could reasonably expect of a letting agent, hence the five stars!

GoogleSold our house on Oak Tree Road with Village Properties as non UK residents. In fact we bought the same house with them in 2009. We dealt with other agencies, but found that the Village are just more down to earth, friendly and gave more of a personalised service. Fees were very competitive and we sold quickly through them. Highly recommend Charlie and his team.

GoogleVillage properties have been great in helping sell my grandfather's house! unfortunately, our first sale fell through. However, within 3 days we had a new, first time buyer and managed to complete within 12 weeks from offer being received! They are very responsive to calls and texts (even multiple times a day!) and were fantastic with helping us getting contracts exchanged! Highly recommend

I've found that all the staff in the letting office (Jodi, Simone, Sarah-Jane) are very professional but also very friendly, and will go the extra mile to make my experience as a tenant a good one. I would definately recommend Village Properties to other potential tenants.

FacebookTheir lettings procedures and dealings with anti social tenants is really concerning. I would not consider using them as letting agents for my property if I was a landlord. We’ve had issues with anti social neighbours who rent through VP and continually make noise and abuse their animals. Despite this VP have ignored our complaints and brushed off our concerns. It’s actually shocking!! Would not use this company if you paid me!
Have you reported this to the RSPC? As if it’s as bad as you say you should take action. What ASB have you experienced?

GoogleBeen renting through village properties for the last 7 years and will continue to do so. The service and communication is amazing. If I have an issue, it is looked into and sorted very quickly. Have started liaising with Beth more this year and she has been awesome! Always on hand to answer questions and always willing to listen to any queries I have. Renewing our contract again shortly. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Great work girls and guys. Would 100% recommend 👌
