GoogleI sold my home in Tilehurst through Ricardo at Village Properties. It was a long time since I’d moved house and Ricardo made the whole experience so much better. He took all the stress out of dealing with the new build company I was buying from as well as from the sale of my house. Also thanks to Sarahjane who was very helpful too. I’d highly recommend Village Properties, they made the whole process far less stressful.

GoogleWe have recently bought and sold with Village properties, I was introduced to Riccardo who helped me find the perfect property for my father. We then asked them to value his house and to make the move happen. Within days he had viewings and sold quickly. Throughout the process we were kept informed, updated and all my phone calls & emails answered promptly. Sarahjane completed the sale and guided us through every step, she liaised with our solicitor on a regular basis, pushed through and followed up each step of the way. I would highly recommend Village properties, they have made something I saw as daunting, plain and straightforward, thank you. Dad is very happy in his new home.

Had a very positive experience, from the initial meeting and valuation with James and the subsequent sale being dealt with by Riccardo and Sarahjane. Communication was very good and all details of the sale were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this Estate Agency and would definitely use them again. GoogleWe were so pleased that we chose VP to sell our house. James was brilliant and Riccardo and Joe were amazing in following up on all viewings (really hardworking and committed) and the team there really listened to our priorities. I couldn’t fault any part of their Service. Huge thank you to Sarah Jane for managing to get us from offer to completion within about 7 weeks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Selling and moving house is certainly a stressful experience but I had full confidence and trust in VP throughout and this took away a lot of the unnecessary stress.

From day one we agreed to sell our property to completion the Tilehurst team provided support and assistance throughout. We felt valued throughout. Communication was excellent via email or over the phone. Viewing’s were well organised, receiving a message as and when a viewing was scheduled. The team were always one step ahead of the process keeping all parties updated. I would highly recommend Village Properties their knowledge, experience and understanding of the area we felt placed them well in identifying potential buyers and when it came to promoting the property.

GoogleWe’ve been renting with VP for around 4 years now and after previously dealing with AWFUL customer service from a previous employee, leading to our children having health issues from damp & mould work not being done, we have now been contacted by Beth. Beth has completely taken over our ‘case’ and has been so professional throughout, she’s got everything on our list addressed and our landlords are totally on board too. GoogleWe are absolutely disappointed in the agency. Awful service when the agency let owners and buyers down rushing for the first good deal. We went to view a house on Saturday (which was Easter holiday), absolutely loved it! we were getting our papers ready for Tuesday, as Monday was a bank holiday as well. We also sent an email to the agent letting them know about our upcoming very reasonable offer (above the guide price!!) they didn’t even share it with the owner, however we were first time buyers with no chain and good amount of money in cash. They let the owner accept the first good offer and sold the property the same day. A good agency would never sell a house with a great potential that quickly. They would wait for better deals at least for a few days. We are gutted, because we were ready to negotiate! Owners would get more and we would get a perfect house we dreamed of! Never using the agency again, they neglect people and great offers and only work for their own profits!

GoogleI just had to share my experience with Village Propertys in Tilehurst from start to finish, When Mr. James Fletcher came around To view the property and give a valuation I found him incredibly professional and helpful and knowledgeable .He guided me through the whole experience .Told me what to expect and arranged for photographs to be taken. The photographs were amazing. I had many compliments from my neighbours and friends, and when it came to our first viewing the week we actually put the property on the market it sold!! Then it was down to paperwork and searches and solicitors another mind field!! We were guided by Sarahjane , this lady definitely knows her job! She was amazing professional knowledgeable and most of all approachable. With her help and guidance she made the whole experience easy , Even when our solicitors were making things very difficult, We highly recommend this company especially the two people that dealt with our sale and move, Mr James Fletcher and Sarahjane, And the rest of the team at village property’s

He didn’t just use standard data that all the other agents use, he looked outside the box, took everything into consideration and gave a fair valuation of our home. We managed to achieve a sale price £100,000 over what the rest of the agents had valued our property at. GoogleI used Village Properties to sell my house recently and found their service to be excellent. I previously had it listed with another local agent and the difference in service was incredible. James Fletcher came out to value my property and was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable about the property market. He gave great advise and recommendations. Feedback and response times were great and nothing was ever too much trouble. Even going over and above on his weekends. What was even more impressive was the management of the process post offer, especially through Covid and with a tricky buyer who constantly threw curveballs. Again, Village Properties showed their experience in dealing with everything and I was glad to have them in my corner. We have now completed and I cant recommend James and the team enough!!

GoogleWhen my mum needed to sell her property, it was only ever going to be Village Properties. They sold it to her in 1997 and she only had good things to say about VP then. They were also selling a property ideal for mum so we can only have good things to say about how they looked after the family as this was a tough move for mum moving from the family home. No hard sell, sold mum's property for asking price within 2 weeks. Special thanks to Riccardo who sensitively looked after us as mum fell in love with her new apartment. A tough time for mum but Riccardo was was so understanding. A credit to Village Properties. All the team were outstanding with advice.
