Sold at the asking price (revised, at my request), so really happy with that. Also, Sansome & George acknowledged a couple of description edits, and their pictures made my flat justice. Really happy with that too. My flat was advertised in the premium section, which was good too. On the constructive side: - I felt at some stage that Sansome & George wanted a quick sale, when they suggested me to lower my asking price by £25K. Ultimately, a £10K proved sufficient. - I did feel a fair amount of pressure not to tie my sale with my purchase, while my circumstances had changed enough to allow me to do so without being harmful to the sale (we are talking a few working days' delay). I would have certainly appreciated more consideration in that aspect.

The whole team at Sansom and George have been fantastic from start to finish. Paul come to value my property and Lewis tirelessly showed vendors round until we received an offer. Barbara then went on to tirelessly offer a fantastic, personal service and was always available by telephone for the many questions/issues we had. Spent summer 2022 hunting around Reading and experienced all the agents out there, some care, some don’t. Most just rush you around with no information. Honeslty, S&G was the most friendliest and helpful, on the week I had three to put an offer on, two was with them. Ben, the agent, Helped me get a good price on the one I went for, after losing out a few times before in BAFO. I have recently sold a property in Reading through Sansome & George. I can honestly say that they are the best estate agency I have worked with. The star of the show was Barbara who was very quick to respond, always ready to give advice and was generally a lovely person to deal with. My sales process was not straightforward due to minor delays with the buyer and tenant. Barbara managed both sides of the problem, took away the stress and helped me bring the sale to a smooth conclusion.

It is difficult to express in a few sentences the unspeakable atrocious service me and my family received from Sansome & George when renting a house from them for the last year until July 22. The lack of professionality was appalling from day one, evidenced in delivering the house in a lousy condition of dirt and malfunction, following by an incompetent response from this letting agent. To make things even worse, Sansome & George tried to keep, without permission or legal right, some of our rent deposit that I had to fight back through the Deposit Protection Service. The DPS finally resolved that they were entitled to only GBP 35 out of the GBP 639 they clumsily were trying to keep. Sansome & George are definitely people you do not want to deal with.

I want to express my thanks for all the work that Sansome and George people in general, and Helyn Collins, the Sales Progression Manager in particular, have done in progressing the sale of our house. My wife and I have been very impressed with the service and help that we have had from everyone we have met from the Sansome and George office - from the initial discussions about the sale of the property, through the offer process, and especially through the sales progression process to the exchange of contracts. We have found everyone very helpful and patient, with good explanation of the reasons for decisions and actions. We had been ready for exchange since early June, finally achieved on the last day of July: if it had not been for Helyn's chasing and reporting we would not have known what was going on up and down the chain. Their team really seem to care about what they do and go above and beyond to give you a really personal service. Barbara, in particular, was amazing in during this process. During a stressful time trying to push a sale through quickly she worked tirelessly to help move things forward but also knew when to moderate my expectation. I could rely on her to tell me the truth of a situation so I was prepared when timescales slipped, something my solicitor seemed to shy away from. I couldn't recommend the service higher and when I come to move on from the property, I will definitely be going back to the Sansome & George/Neville Turner team.

Amazing service. After another estate agency failed to sell our property Anthony took on the sale for S&G. We got over asking price and he was easy to deal with and proactive in communications. More importantly, since the agreed sales and recent exchange we had a nightmare chain with multiple buyers playing games and mistakes by solicitors. Fortunately we had Barbara from their sales progression team going above and beyond to get things over the line. She took a nightmare situation and made it as close to stress free as possible for us. All of this was for a very price too, and so I highly recommend them, hence this review
