TrustpilotCorrupt Contractors, And Corrupt complaints department
My dealings with Tunbridge Wells Savills, wasn't the best, I reported boiler issues in July, and by December after 10 visits from Billy from The Mcalpine Group, I become suspicious and refused access, upon further checks, He had no GAS safety Card and was performing illegal boiler works, They also instructed a non trading company ''Warner Hurst Property Maintenance Limited '' what files dormant accounts from the date of registration to install, Dangerous cheap Chinese carpets. When I had reported such issues to Savills, Dianna was very helpful in the beginning stages providing lots of help and advice, to she was told off by managers , and told JAS and FIONA would take over then attempted a cover up.They shared rude internal emails about myself, and commented on a checkered passed, When in-fact Savills also have a checkered passed, they spent millions of pounds at Garden Court Chambers paying KC's to remove news articles where Savills have been connected to multiple property frauds in the hundreds of millions, and are currently trying to Pay off Barclays £14M in a property mortgage fraud as well as HSBC £11M in a separate fraud, As well as ongoing cases with JP MORGAN and Lloyds Banking Group for other frauds, Savills are also connected to a fraud relating to the Royal Family, but once again settled millions out of court. ( all of the above are available to see in publicly accessible court transcripts & archived news reports ) Tamsin @ Savills also challenged me and biged up their contractor list. There contractors have shady company formations and Savills use them to charge the most out of landlords. £1500 for cheap Chinese carpet is not acceptable, and Work invoices sent to companies what are dormant and non trading is a criminal offence, and Gas works sent to engineers whom don't have the qualifications to touch a boiler. In the end, after Billy from The Mcalpine Group, attended over 10 occasions to inspect a Gas Boiler he over priced several boiler parts what didn't fix the job then when I reported he had no Gas safety certificate, there was no evidence to support he touched my boiler claimed Savills, infact he had sub contracted work, to a plumber who did, When I had informed Savills of my ring door bell, there position has changed to we will no longer discuss this matter with you.Overall, rental process was stress free, Faith Lewis was speedy with sorting issues out at the beginning stages, The mistake I made was making a offer before seeing the property. The Tennant was being awkward and not allowing access, so I went ahead and made an offer. This was used against me when issues did arise. No one showed any remorse, When several mistakes was made, Tamsin, instructed me in emails on the 19th of December, when I had informed her; her contractors was not certified, I could arrange parts and my own contractor, then on the 22nd of December threatened me breach of contract for arranging my own parts. She clearly has some type of short term memory loss, on what and when and who she spoke to, Why this was taken place sharing cheeky emails between each other at my expense. This time rather then use my own computer skills, I had to use DSAR requests to access data in the correct format, to see their own internal investigation work, what unearthed a complete different version of events, Staff was dramatic, providing false accounts to contact they had with me, and even Tamsin reported to landlord & '' her contact with me report'' requested by managers, I'm ordering parts for the boiler to her surprise, but it was this very agent what give me the green light and told me to order parts, keep receipts and even give me advice how the contractor I use should address invoices.I spoke to the landlord direct, whom says it was Tamsin who was the one who persuaded her to use the The Mcalpine Group parsing there work and going over there insurance and so forth on the 21st, Tamsin also told the landlord I was acting without warrant, and ordering parts for her appliances what could put her property at risk.Tamsin completely forgot I had reported to her The Mcalpine Group had no certifications to install external expansion vessel, and she was whom give me a full '' GO ahead '' to order parts. Then in emails she reports to her manager, I am very frustrated and. hard work on the phone.surprise surprise .... 6 months no heating ! horrible Christmas...Expect this service from Savills, when dealing with there contractors. They should also follow a famous quote, Practice what you preach, And before you mention checkered past, please check your own :)Thanks.

TrustpilotCondescending and rude attitude but good with response times and viewings
Viewings went well and very responsive. However I did not expect to be spoken to rudely and in a condescending manner from a particular member of their team. Marketing themselves as an agent providing great service but i found the service other than viewings and response time to be extremely poor. Senior member of staff was not helpful either and did not take a balanced stance after complaint submitted.

TrustpilotEllis and Savills were simply incredible
Working with Ellis and the team at Savills was an incredible experience. Selling a home in the UK when we are living in Sydney, was stressful at times not being close by and on the right time zone. Having Ellis overseeing everything for us was incredible and we felt so confident with the entire process we couldn’t recommend her or Savills more highly. So professional and efficient and the perfect representative for our beautiful home. We felt in very safe hands which was very comforting from the other side of the world.

GoogleI have now experienced Savills Rickmansworth as both a buyer and a seller and have been really impressed on both occasions. Rozanne on the purchase and James on the sale were professional, polite and personable and a pleasure to deal with. They kept me informed throughout the process which really was quite painless. On the purchase it was all about transparency and openness as we overcame small buying hurdles. On the sale they found a buyer straight away and we moved from offer to completion in two months. I would definitely recommend.

I have had the pleasure of engaging with Fiona Wither from Residential Lettings since January 2024. GoogleOur experience with Savill's was effective and mostly positive, and at the end of the day the sale and facilitation is what is needed in an otherwise stressful situation.
Graeme was excellent in managing our expectations early and we had been discussing the possibility of a move for a year or so (then further delayed by the pandemic!). Very patient I have to say.
Through the pandemic Savill's were respectful of the need for precautions for visitors and their staff for viewings and mostly were able to ensure the viewers were similarly respectful although there were instances of viewers not being reminded not to sit down and not to open cupboards.
Once an offer was accepted there was good liaison and management between the parties despite some to'ing and fro'ing with solicitors although at times plans were made for completion dates without our initial involvement, which then had to be changed to accommodate our needs.
Overall positive, reasonably rapid and probably as smooth and professional as it gets in a hugely disruptive process

GoogleGraeme and his team handled our house sale in Chorleywood on behalf of Savills Rickmansworth and did an outstanding and very professional job. Graeme did the initial valuation of our house early in 2021and patiently waited for us to determine the right time to put it on the market and thus achieve a fair sales price. He and the whole Rickmansworth team had a comprehensive understanding of the local market and identified numerous potential buyers from the local area and beyond. Graeme kept us informed of client feedback and was always readily accessible during the negotiation process with our eventual buyer. We thoroughly recommend using Savills in Rickmansworth if you are selling a house locally.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWe were aiming for a quickish house sale. We chose Savills because, as one of the largest estate agency chains in the UK, we felt they would have access to the size of buyer network needed to realise our aim.
It was definitely the right call.
On a sunny Saturday in late March, our house of over 20 years was shown to prospective buyers and by the following Monday had sold for the asking price. Two months later to the day, we exchanged contracts.
The team at Savills in Rickmansworth have been outstanding from start to finish - professional, dedicated, reliable, and courteous.
Sue Trybus is a rare gem - a highly experienced and motivated estate agent with an obvious passion for her work and yet a genuine desire to see her customers happy and their expectations met. She has been front-and-centre throughout the process, from initial valuation, offering helpful advice on some home improvements, overseeing the open day, managing the subsequent offers, providing regular progress updates, liaising seamlessly with all parties. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with.
Moving house can be highly stressful. So it's worth taking the time to find the right people to work your corner. If you're looking to move into the South West Hertfordshire area, we'd recommend Sue Trybus and the team at Savills in Rickmansworth as your first port of call.

GoogleSo happy to report that we exchanged on Friday. A big thank you to Sue Trybus and her team at the Savills Ricky branch. Since placing our house on the market, just before Christmas, the process has been relatively painless. Savills conducted all viewings, with Sue providing feedback and keeping us up to date with market changes. It quickly became clear that in Sue we had engaged one of the best, a fact confirmed by a number of agents in Herts and Bucks who were helping us with our own search. Meanwhile we're looking forward to our next chapter; thank you Sue for helping us on our way!

TrustpilotLack of integrity and competence
There was very little factually accurate information that the Savills agent shared during the sales process from the kind of building, location of the car park through to what the service charge covered. They don’t provide the essential materials but expect you read every detail of their marketing brochures which the agent herself lacked knowledge - no value in dealing with the agent and what’s the purpose if their expectation is to read in detail the marketing material. A commission not earned for lacking the requisite skills and knowledge to make an honest sale. Since when did marketing material become the most important documentation taking precedence over what the agent communicates. They are bound by a code of ethics and speaking to the property ombudsman makes the standards clear yet they get away with not demonstrating the standards including using confidential client information inappropriately. Very disappointing and it’s a poor decision to engage them or trust anything the agent communicates especially when you’re forced to work through them as a sole agent as some developers insist. An all round unpleasant experience with defensiveness, a lack of analysis, rigour and zero accountability for any of their words and actions.

TrustpilotDO NOT USE "Greedy Sales Reps & Lairs"
Do not use. Unless you get everything on paper/email from them. And I mean everything as their representatives will try anything to get a sale with false promises and late lie about it ever been mentioned or offered. Have witnesses and log everything. Do not take the name as they are professionals many of representatives keen to get sales. That is their goal not the customer. My statement maybe very strong but I have proof and now have to undertake a complaints from wasting my time and energy whilst had to incur costs on sale that was a lie.

TrustpilotBest lettings agent experience
Yesterday, myself and my housemate had been doing a long day of unsuccessful viewings. After feeling very defeated, I got a call from Savills where I spoke with Nikita. It was almost 6pm and she offered to let us view a property around the corner to where we currently were. We loved the house so much and put in an offer straight away!!If it wasn't for Nikita being so lovely and accommodating we wouldn't have had the chance to see this property and get an offer in, in the nick of time.Thank you so much Nikita!!

TrustpilotSavills agents harassing buyers ignoring questions asked
I dealt with Mandy White at Savills Nightingale Lane. House sellers. Be aware! Aggressive estate agents habitually harassing potential buyers without any intention to facilitate communications or unblock buyers' questions DISGUST buyers and DRIVE THEM AWAY.It's common sense estate agents only care about their own commission but Mandy White really takes it to a whole new level:1. Aggressive HARASSING WITHOUT PROVIDING INFO: I had almost 3 weeks of crazy emails/calling every single day yet NOT responding to my questions about the property & missing important documentation. She was chasing me to pay for survey while key information was missing and she was the one who should chase the sellers. Turns out she did not care about my questions till I made it clear this blocks the situation then she started doing her job. 2. Nonsensically SABOTAGING AN AGREED SALE that almost came to the end: My searches were done and I paid for my own survey scheduled in 3 weeks. She tried to force me to use her survey providers saying if I stick with my survey provider they will put the flat back on market. So they did.Putting the property back on market AFTER I paid for searches & survey?? This is nonsensical. No new buyer will proceed quicker than my process in its final stage.Frankly she has been such a nightmare that not having to deal with her anymore started to sound pretty good to me. Living in that property may remind me of just how much harassing I had to go through to find my home!My first flat viewing was in 2014 and just when I finally thought I found the right place with search results coming out fine, Mandy White is making it unnecessarily difficult just because I want to use my survey provider recommended by my trusted friends. I not only wonder what kind of estate agents she is but also what kind of human being she is.Sellers, you want smart estate agents who know how to facilitate communications and unblock situations. AVOID the harassing/sabotaging type like Mandy White.

TrustpilotThanks to Ruaraidh and Sandra. Angus Office
Huge thanks to Ruaraidh and Sandra in the Angus office. We had made the mistake of first trying a generic estate agency firm in order to potentially save some money in selling out property which simply resulted in two months of frustration and angst. Changing to Savills was transformational. At the first meeting it was clear that the knowledge and experience about how best to market our property and how be best to approach the sale was on a different level. The result was a feeling of confidence that we were in professional hands. The bonus of an early sale was obviously welcome.

TrustpilotTESSA THE SUPER STAR
Savills were an amazing agent to deal with, especially our super star agent Tessa. From first dealing with Tessa it was easy. We had a long, and difficult sale but Tessa was patient, persistent and more than anything positive. She was incredible at communicating on all aspects (she set up an WhatsApp group which was perfect) she offered guidance and advice when needed. Out of all agents we have ever dealt with she was the most humble, friendliest and also relatable (where similar ages so maybe that’s why). She also came to see us on the day of completion, ensured everything was as it should be. She was FANTASTIC, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

TrustpilotGreat experience with Savills Stamford
We had a very successful and enjoyable experience working with Victoria, Charlotte and the whole Savills Stamford team in the sale of our home. They did an excellent job from the start with pricing, marketing, coordinating viewings and, very soon after, managing the bidding process. Once we had accepted an offer, Victoria and the team worked very hard to manage the process to exchange and completion, diligently following up with the buyer's agent and solicitor to ensure that the chain was moving and working closely and cooperatively with our solicitor when needed. Everyone at Savills was friendly & professional. We highly recommend Victoria and Savills Stamford to anyone looking to sell their property.
