A very long overdue review as we bought our house in August but we could not praise enough our estate agent, Mo Adan. Our house buying process was extremely stressful due to unforeseen changes on the seller's side and Mo was an absolute star supporting us along the way. He helped us through every step of the process, never failed to pick up the phone when we had a question or wanted an update. He was supportive and made sure we were able to get the sale over the line on the timeframe that suited both the seller and us. From the initial telephone call with Mo too the final completion on the sale of my property, my family and I found Mo to be professional and very helpful, he always goes that extra mile, he stands out from the rest by delivering a quality and conscientious service. If ever you are looking to sell your property, I very much would like to recommend Mo Adan at Haart. His knowledge of the sales/buying process is second to none. I valued his open and honest opinion and very much his advice. I also really appreciated the fact that he is not pushy at all. He has a really good sense of how to guide people through the sales process, especially when it gets tricky and things don’t seem to go the way one would have at first hoped for. He is very understanding, with a calm manner and always looking for solutions to problems when they occur. Most of all, Mo is always very responsive and approachable. Very disappointed as after years of being hassled by Haart to sell, they couldn’t even Manage a valuation with no issues! The appointment was booked by head office and Danny didn’t even turn up. Not a great start and I called the office and Mo answered who was helpful and offered to come himself (this is The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of one). Danny eventually turned up and was quite patronising when dealing with me. He was throwing all these stats at me in terms of their percentage of sales and how many people buy online etc... would have been relevant if I was particularly interested in those stats but he was just talking at me for ages, without checking in to see if that was of interest - poor sales tactics if I may ( having worked 15 years in finance I have seen many like Danny) and unfortunately he is part of the reason as to why estate agents have this reputation. Also how unprofessional to start dismissing other estate agents after barely entering my property. He proceeded to say why I should choose them (albeit their fees are completely ridiculous ) and when I told him I had found another agent with a very different price list Instead of asking probing questions and trying to find out more, he literally dismissed it/me and said he wasn’t competing. Of course you are competing Danny, that’s what your job is! As my experience had been completely different and he kept banging on about all the due care and attention they give their vendors ... which clearly wasn’t the case for me at all, instead of apologising he said ‘ I can’t change what happened’ and shrugged his shoulders, which infuriated me. Had there been a man in the property I am certain he would have not been so patronising and arrogant . Danny, as a tip, make sure you turn up on time, that you find out what a vendor is looking for before you start listing your qualifications (which are not of interest) and most importantly, learn to deal with women who actually have a clue what they’re talking about - you came in completely patronising, had done zero research and valued so low because you want a quick buck.
