Bradley was very professional and friendly on the two occasions we have met. He is responsive in email communications with me which I find very helpful. On the first house viewing I attended with him, he did not seem to actively sell the house and its best features to me, I felt he could have done more here. He also did not seem to be very well informed about all of the property details, as when I asked the type of boiler he informed me combi when in fact there was a large water tank upstairs. After my first viewing of a property no one from Chancellor’s followed up with me to get my feedback, which I thought was unusual. Overall whilst Bradley and Chancellors have been nice to deal with, I feel there could be some improvements made to their services.

Ben is very professional and comes across as completely trustworthy when it comes to discussing houses. The property is on the main Bath Road with traffic constantly trundling past at great speed.. This was a no for us. Also the entrance driveway is steep and could be tricky when icy. The garden is great and has loads of potential.

If the current tenant living across from me is any indication of the type of people Chancellor's Thatcham places in its properties, landlords BEWARE! For the last few months, a young man has been living in a studio flat marketed by said company. If he is not smoking pot which wafts into my neighbour's child's bedroom, he is SCREAMING and swearing at his visiting children on the weekends. From the moment he brings them into the flat, I can hear him shouting at them (and my front door is over 100 feet from his window). Now, bear in mind these poor mites are only 2 and 3 years old. Once again, I heard him screaming at them this morning at 2.30am (Sun 27th July) and multiple times from 8am. I have already contacted social services about this emotional abuse and the police have visited but it seems to have had little impact. As well as raising concerns about the children's welfare, I have contacted Chancellor's and informed it of the noise and smells impacting our cul-de-sac (I was completely forthcoming about this tenant's behaviour). I was told that my complaint would be passed onto Thameside Property Management who oversees the tenant. However, absolutely nothing has changed since it was first reported to Chancellor's over 7 weeks ago. I will keep pressing the issue with the authorities but if anything happens to those children, everyone that I have informed will be to blame. If you have a property that you want to rent out, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere based on the person described above. I would be absolutely livid if this man had been placed in a property I owned.

We approached Chancellors of Thatcham as we wanted a professional service and we were not disappointed. We were selling our family home after the loss of our mother . We met with Lauren initially and she explained the whole process. We found Lauren professional in her manner, friendly but also understanding regarding our recent bereavement. We were shown empathy and reassurance. We were guided through each step and we really appreciated advice that was offered. We found Lauren and the whole team at Chancellors Thatcham approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for the team . It has been difficult finding a property due to the high demand of rental properties. I was so relieved when Chancellors started to assist in my property search.
