We initially dealt with Lauren at Chancellors, as we were selling our property, but a change in circumstances meant that we could re-let the property. Lauren was brilliant and helped us whilst we were trying to evict our tenants. She then passed us over to Brooke from the lettings team once our plans changed. Brooke has been amazing. She understood the previous issues with tenants, and was sympathetic to our anxiety in finding new tenants. She understood that we were concerned about a repeat of what had occurred previously. Brooke kept us both informed of viewings at the property, feedback received, offers that were put in. When we rejected the offers for various reasons, she trusted our judgment and continued working hard to establish new leads. We felt that we were in safe hands throughout our entire dealings with Brooke. She is very personable, and is generally great to deal with, either by phone, email, text or in person. She clearly knows what she’s doing with lettings, she worked with both sides to ensure we were happy and we are so relieved that we waited a little longer to find the right tenant. Brooke has been excellent from start to finish, no question was too silly, and when we did have a slight hurdle towards the end, she didn’t just say there was a problem, she came with a solution and didn’t just leave it to us to deal with. I can’t say enough positive things about her involvement, professional, polite, easy to get on with and she had our trust from the outset. She didn’t promise and under-deliver, she did everything she said she would, and in a timely and efficient manner. Thanks again Brooke.

We recently completed our home purchase, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had Ben guiding us through the process. Throughout the entire journey, he was exceptionally helpful, proactive, and responsive. He bridged the communication between us and the seller flawlessly, making what could have been a stressful experience run smoothly. We truly appreciate all his hard work and dedication. The only negative aspect of our experience was dealing with Lifetime Legal, the third-party company Chancellors uses for AML checks. Right after our offer was accepted, while we were already managing a heavy flow of communication between the estate agent, solicitor, and mortgage broker, we were subjected to aggressive marketing tactics from Lifetime Legal. It felt overwhelming and unnecessary at such a busy time. I sincerely hope Chancellors considers finding a more customer-friendly AML check solution in the future. That being said, every other member of the team we interacted with, both at the Thatcham office and the Chancellors headquarters, was highly professional, skilled, and efficient. Aside from the third-party AML check experience, the service provided by Chancellors was excellent, and I would gladly recommend them. Thank you to everyone involved, and a special thanks to Ben!

Really disappointed in the service provided by Brooke at chancellors in thatcham have enquired about two properties as soon as they were listed and both times that I have rang she has advised me that they don’t have a viewing date set yet and she would get back to me. With the first property I never received a call despite emailing to check on this and when I checked again on rightmove it had been changed to let agreed. With the second property despite me calling and being told it had just gone up so they didn’t have a viewing date yet and she would let me know as soon as they did I then received a call that rang for one second I couldn’t even pick up the phone quick enough so I rang back immediately to be told she was just calling to let me know that she can’t get me a viewing for the property as all the slots are gone? Makes no sense. It seems as though they just wanted to make me miss a call so they could blame it on that. Both times I dealt with Brooke and it appears that there is a form of favouritism among tenants when it comes to booking viewings. Will not enquire with chancellors thatcham again.

Really impressed from day one. Lauren kept me up to date and made it very simple. Lauren and Ben used there network and had a number of viewings arranged in the first week one of which led to a sale (subject to contract). Those who are sceptical on Apps like myself are converted very quickly as the marketing and ongoing process is very good and totally transparent. If I had to pick one thing though as the standout it’s the communication I had from both Lauren and Ben .. really appreciate the help and support from both of you !!
