GoogleI highly recommend the Miles & Barr Birchington team! The entire team are professional and knowledgeable, however, they offer the personal touch and get to know their client and care about their client. Matt was professional, personable and honest about market conditions - no false promises and genuine from the get go. Matt talked me through market comparisons and realistic outcomes - he managed my expectations from the outset and cautioned me house sales averaged 5 months to complete. Matt nailed it! Thank you Matt! Highly recommend Shannen their professional photographer who set up the online 3-D walk through for prospective buyers - She did an amazing job. This service is invaluable - it genuinely helps prospective buyers and deters time wasters. Huge thanks to Debbie Mead the sales progressor - lightning speed comms - this service alone is worth the agency fee! Debbie has her finger on the pulse with everyone in the chain and keeps all parties informed every step of the way - this service is invaluable. Finally, the biggest cheer is for Scott Roberts! He gave me excellent advice at a very critical moment in proceedings - I really valued his exceptional knowledge and expertise, but also his understanding of my personal circumstances and his commitment to me as a client to achieve the outcome I wanted. Thank you Scott and everyone at Miles and Barr for an excellent 5* service.

I have now been in my new home for 3 months. ALL the staff at Miles & Barr were so very helpful and professional right from initially putting my house on the market to getting a firm offer in Spring 2023. At this point I feel the star of the team was my appointed Negotiator Suzzanne Beardon. She was so supportive, helpful and nothing was too much trouble right through to completion. Would never use them again, horrible communication, attitude and service. Incompetent throughout. Information was never passed to us and had to chase on multiple occasions, culminating in sellers refusing to hand over keys whilst Miles and Barr staff watched on despite calling us earlier that day to hand the keys over advising which we weren't the legal owners which was odd as our keys were handed in minutes later. After handing our keys in to them they simply watched a seller refuse to pass us keys after funds had cleared and hour earlier. Ridiculous company no backbone.

GoogleIt was a traumatic time after the death of my father, and the team at Miles & Barr couldn't have been more helpful. We felt from the first meeting with Scott Roberts that we could leave the sale process in his capable hands. We had to get back home to Australia after six weeks, and after we got home the Miles & Barr team made sure we were constantly informed about what was happening with the sale.

The worst estate agents I have ever come across. Be VERY careful if you intend to use a member of their solicitors panel they will charge you £150 to simply instruct a solicitor of their choice, the solicitors' charges will in no way be competitive and they will charge you and additional £60 to complete a money laundering ID check which will then not be recognised by their solicitors and therefore will be required to be carried out a second time...... BEWARE!!

We bought our property through Miles & Barr and they kept us well informed throughout the process. I had fortnightly updates on the entire chain and weekly updates as we headed towards completion. The calls and emails were both informative and reassuring. They made a stressful process much smoother. Suzanne Bearden was our contact and she was great, cheerful and up to date with all the information she provided. Thank you.
