As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

Jak Offord and his team at William H Brown, managed to sell both properties that we had up for sale. The process was excellent from the start to completion, especially from Michelle, Izzy and Maculey, those 3 staff members where outstanding, professional and humble from start to finish. You could actually feel that they all had compassion when speaking to them rather than its just buisness and figures like some others there...!!! I chose William H Brown as had a really positive experience selling a property previously. I was new to letting a flat and needed lots of advice and support. Luckily Tom in the lettings department has gone above and beyond. From seeing the flat at initial meeting through to finding the right tenant, Tom has metaphorically held my hand. He has always been available and when it is his day off, he made sure Olly kept in touch. He listened to what sort of rental I envisaged and ensured that honestly and congruence were at the heart of everything. This meant a fair service for myself and especially the tenants. I felt that nothing was too much trouble and no question too silly. My new tenant is more than happy and this makes me feel happy. I can't thank you enough x

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

Worked with Thomas and Olly during the letting process and have nothing but good things to say. They were both very friendly and helpful answering any question I had, with the process being fast and smooth, when a few minor issues did arise, the agents were always quick to contact and resolve them. They were also flexible with scheduling the initial viewing and were polite from the start, and didnt make me feel like i was being fobbed off like when I had spoken to some estate agents previously.
