Please reconfirm and verify every statement carefully. Agents like this harm the industry. The agent we dealt with was highly unprofessional. As an international student group, we were unfamiliar with the rules around letting in the UK, and the agent took advantage of our lack of knowledge, possibly even taking us for granted. The agency, represented by this agent named Anisa, collected £496 as a holding deposit but never refunded it. To make matters worse, the agent never informed us that the deposit was non-refundable. It’s a real shame that we lost that money under such unfair circumstances, and it’s unlikely that anyone will benefit from it.

We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way.We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful.The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with.Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

Tom at Jackson Stops in Teddington has done a fantastic job helping myself and my husband find perfect rental properties in the area. When our original landlord wished to return to his property (which Tom had found for us) Tom was straight on the case and knew exactly what we were looking for and the features we required (e.g being pet friendly for our puppy, Barney). Within a week we had a new place sorted which removed a huge amount of stress and frustration usually experienced when renting properties in London. Tom does not employ the usual pressure tactics we have experienced in the past with other agencies which was a welcome relief. Would happily recommend and would look to him in the future if moving in the area without hesitation

We were buyers of a property listed by Jackson Stops. We experienced some uncertainty towards the end of the conveyancing process and were nervous that the entire sale would fall apart. Thankfully, the communication from James and Ria was positive, consistent, and of high quality. If James said he would contact me by the next morning with news, he did. I paid the full year's rent on 22 August - a huge expense for a student, but certainly an asset for the agency. I hoped that the agent's support would reflect my commitment. Unfortunately, when I got the keys to my flat on 31 August （It's not very smooth, but it doesn't matter :)）, I was deeply disappointed. The fridge was broken, the ceiling and walls were mouldy, the toilet was out of order, the mattress was torn, there were no curtains, one of the lamps was missing a bulb, the window handles were broken, the heating in the living room and hallway was broken, and the kitchen sink needed to be sealed from the wall. The sofa was stained, spotted and damaged. However, to my surprise, the washing machine was almost brand new! Yes, you read that right, I suspected that no repairs had been carried out before handover. BUT, I am still confident that the professional maintenance team at Jackson-Stops will demonstrate their expertise and dedication to understanding the importance of customer satisfaction and empathising with tenants. I am confident that they will address and resolve these issues as quickly as possible, demonstrating their efficiency and competence in handling such situations. I will continue to monitor and review the services provided by Jackson-Stops. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I would be more than happy to share my experiences. :))
