GoogleWe had a great experience working with Leah at Curchods to find a rental property. She was responsive, efficient and endlessly patient during the inevitable back and forth as we worked out the details of our contract. She made the whole experience as stress free as possible and went out of her way to make sure we were in the loop at every stage in the process along with making herself available for extra viewings when requested. GoogleMy experience with Curchods was one of Integrity, openness transparency and real tenacity. I valued their true partnership approach which is very rare in the world of estates agent. There there’s wasn’t a single cold call, they never encouraged gazumping (although other agents did so quite openly) no pushy sales people trying to pressurise a sale and they treated the buyer and vendor with the same degree of respect and professionalism. GoogleVery happy to endorse Rob and Declan at Curchods Teddington. They worked with us to market the property at the right price which resulted in plenty of interest and multiple offers. They then ensured the sale completed at the agreed price, despite all the turbulence caused by Covid lockdown. Throughout the process I felt there was good alignment with Curchods and that they were as keen as we were to complete the sale. GoogleAVOID. After looking for a property in the local area, I saw one I liked with Curchods. I found the process of booking a viewing awful, before I was allowed to go and look I had to have a call with one of their staff who asked me personal questions about my financial position. BEFORE A VIEWING! This was for a £400k flat, hardly the rolls royce of homes (I can understand if it was a premium development). Needless to say they were late for the appointment and I didn't like the apartment anyway, so all in all a waste of time and now they have all of my personal details. Would NOT recommend.
We ask potential buyers questions about their financial position and their personal info for two key reasons: 1. Security, we are very aware that we are responsible for our clients homes during viewings, we need to ask buyers questions to ensure we know who we are taking to properties. 2. We ask about your financial position so we can pre-qualify our buyers, this is so we don't waste our clients' time making the property ready for viewings, cleaning and vacating it etc, if after the viewing it turns out the buyer isn't in a suitable financial position to purchase the property. We are sorry you didn't enjoy the experience, but hopefully this will go a way towards explaining the process we have to adhere to for buyers looking to view properties.

GoogleCurchods are the best Estate Agents I've yet to work with. Consistently positive and helpful, they worked tirelessly to get the best deal for my house. They also took the time to find the right buyer, not just in terms of price but also in terms of their seriousness and ability to follow through to completion. I liked all the people I dealt with and was impressed with how all of the bumps in the road of a sales process were dealt with. I recommend them without hesitation as the best estate agents in Teddington.
