TrustpilotTaunton lettings team were horrific
I found the Taunton lettings team really poor - they do not operate a first come policy which is unfair on anyone requiring somewhere to live and may be in a desperate situation. I've reported this now, and have no doubt they will try and discredit this review, they were incredibly rude in an email too. It was difficult to make contact with them all this morning and their system accumulates peoples information and they group applications to be compared against. They can do this because they know demand is high.It's really bad; anywhere else would work a first come, first serve then be accessed for suitability and application then submitted to the landlord for approval. It was a shame because the property's in Geoffrey Farrant Walk, and Allington Close - I wanted to pay the tenancy & deposit in advance so I wouldn't be left homeless. I strongly recommend avoiding these purely based on their approach and any conscious landlords with any form of morals, go elsewhere.

I do not live locally but I am completely confident that they will take care of my properties.The staff I have dealt with are all very friendly and polite on the phone and in emails and raise any concerns with me promptly. They seek my permission, with costings, before instigating any necessary repairs and alert me if there is a problem with a tenant. Even though we are in unprecedented times, they have done everything necessary to enable things to run as smoothly as possible.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

FacebookShocking, problems from the start with the property "MOULD" nothing much got done. We contacted them 2 weeks prior to leaving about what to do with with problems with the property we was in to make sure we get out money back, we was ignored twice and now we are being deducted over £250 plus £6 for a new key cut that we apparently did not hand in. Just money grabbing. Also shocking communication definitely would not recommend

FacebookI would recommend ........ Just !!! Very efficient with showing us around our first property chap was very knowledgeable.Offer got accepted then told the next day it wasn’t ! (Miss communication) During the process of buying said property communication between solicitor and Gibbens seemed to break down and I was used as the go between (wouldn’t have minded if I wasn’t heavily pregnant) this became very stressful as a result. Was told insurance needed to be taken out on the drive of the property we were purchasing before the sale went ahead my solicitors felt this wasn’t our responsibility and should be at the cost of the seller . Unfortunately when I offered to pay half I was told the the property could be sold on for more than what we paid and the seller could pull out just what we needed to hear in pre-term labour To avoid more stress we agreed to pay the insurance !Constantly told my solicitors were “holding up the chain” even though I felt they were actually acting in our best interests and few times I was spoken to a-bit rude as I was doing my best to solve every issue that was flagged up this unfortunately never appeared good enough . However, sale completed on date agreed and we are all moved in ! After a very stressful experience.Diana & Carl
