FacebookAbsolutely amazed with the friendly service received from next place especially Laura. As she kept us updated throughout the whole process of us letting our property and has been brilliant keeping in touch to make sure all is going well in the first few weeks of settling in. After having issues with past estate agencys. Laura an the team at next place have certainly put my mind at ease. Would highly recommend :)

GoogleWhen I put my home up for sale I used an agent in Tamworth who were to be honest useless..I moved agents to Next place, the service from day 1 was exemplary. Anton , Clare and Abby gave advise on home layout, they didn't just show people around clare sold the house professionally and Abby coordinated the sale from offer to completion. I can not recommend Next Place enough..A breath of fresh air for estate agents Thank you

GoogleAgreed a letting with this estate agents, was not told that poor credit would lead to refusal of tenancy until after they had stolen our £160 holding money. Now they’re hiding behind tiny terms and conditions. Wouldn’t even let us talk to the landlord directly to sort issues out and refused to even pass on our offer of three months up front rent or larger security deposit. Also refused perfectly good online guarantor services we were willing to pay for. So apparently we are good enough to take money off for the holding deposit but not to let a property that we earn double the required amount for in our management jobs that we’ve been in for over 10 years My only hope is that someone else who is desperate for a house to live in reads this before they get scammed as well out of money they can’t afford to pay and avoid these criminals *Update* Thank you for your response. The law actually states that if you have ‘knowledge’ of bad credit then the holding deposit can be withheld however I made it quite clear to yourself that I had no knowledge of this. Had we been told right from the start that the credit check was that important and I would need a guarantor, as in it would throw the whole thing off then I for sure would have checked my report, realised what was on it and searched for a guarantor straight away before wasting our hard earned money! As an aside I have a work colleague that paid 6 months up front rent only last year and that was with an agent so 👍🏻NegativeQuality, Professionalism
Thank you for your review, however, i think there are some important facts missing. On your initial tenancy offer form, before we take any funds at all, there is a specific question "do you have any county court judgements", which you answered no. It turns out you have 3 unsatisfied judgements between you. If you had declared this, we would not have taken your application any further. As we did, we then asked you to provide a guarantor, which you did, who also had unsatisfactory credit, we then asked you to provide a further guarantor which you did not. All of the forms clearly state "I understand that providing false information may lead to the Letting Agency withholding the Holding Deposit." I am sorry you were unable to pass our referencing criteria, however, should you have provided the correct information in the first place, we would not have progressed your application in the knowledge that you would not have passed. The law says that we are not allowed to take administration fees from a tenant, but we can withhold a holding deposit if false information is provided, and we also cannot take a deposit of more than 5 weeks rent as it is against the current laws. I have no doubt you earn more than the required amount to pass referencing, but I would satisfy your outstanding debts before you apply to rent another property to ensure you pass the referencing criteria.

GoogleWe recently sold our property through Next Place and the service has been outstanding. Right from our initial meeting with Phil Hayden who gave sound advice on pricing and took some fabulous photographs of our house we received professional, efficient and friendly service. The first weekend the house was on sale a viewing was arranged and by the end of that day a sale was agreed thanks to the efficient and determined attention of Lyndsey Clarke. We were then looked after by Abby Drury in Sales Progression. Despite 3 breaks in the lower chain and the Pandemic halting things we did finally move and are happily living in our new home. After having an awful experience selling my flat and having a particularly bad time trying to complete a sale on another property it was a huge relief to have found Next place. Thought out the entire process of selling my flat and purchase of our new house they have been utterly superb! They have kept us informed the intire step of the way and bent over backwards to help us. Totally professional and they treat you as an individual not just a number. Extra credit has to go to Lyndsey and Abby who have been truly excellent.
