TrustpilotThe National Trust ? National Insult.
The National Trust should rename itself The National Insult. After volunteering for several years at an NT property, and having been a member for many more years, I have resigned as a volunteer, and my wife and I have cancelled our membership. The National Trust is a national disgrace.

TrustpilotWhy!
Told me I wouldn't be able to cancel my membership? Why.. I should be able to pause it or cancel. We are in a national lockdown! All but essential travel. Going to national trust sites ISNT essential! Please review this. I need this pausing or resolving ASAP!

We were members years ago but just so saddened by the sight of political zealots hijacking this lovely institution. The unfolding horror story Is alienating the public and leaving members in despair. Who would want to visit beautiful buildings with such an aura of menace surrounding them?

After being a member for around 2 years i decided to cancel with it's hard left wing agenda. I hope voting with my feet sends a message perhaps to their management.

GoogleFor a key building next to a major outlet centre the visitor experience is weak in my view. The cafe competes head-on with major chains nearby and the gift shop doesn't make the best of what the Trust has to offer. Sadly I think it's something of a missed opportunity.

TrustpilotBe grateful for the National Trust
Big proponent of the National Trust and all they do. Floating almost entirely on the generosity of volunteers, we should be grateful that our country has such a force for conservation. This comment section is a sad place of childlike entitlement and petty bitterness.

TrustpilotOnline booking not fit for purpose
Such a shame we have had a family membership for many years. The online booking facility is not fit for purpose. Just had our family membership renewal through at full price. Not going to pay for something we cannot use therefore regrettably we have cancelled our membership.

TrustpilotJust terrible
Just terrible. Sad that Iβm thinking of cancelling my membership which my family and I have enjoyed over the years. All the reviews are spot on. Bad service, bad booking system and over priced restaurants. Come on NT listen to your members. No change no members.

Have visited a few National Turst houses recently and they at long last seem to be getting back to normal, Back to China plates for example which makes the visit so much nicer if you eat there.

TrustpilotNT are homophobic
Having now seen firsthand a series of emails on how the National Trust manages out people who members of the LGBTQ community I will be making sure that NT continues to lose memberships. I a, disgusted with what I have witnessed from Corfe Castle staff.

As a child I used to visit the Mussenden temple and giants causeway for free. Not anymore. Why? What improvements have been made. Just a money making racket and the final nail in the coffin is the trust reviewing properties allegedly linked to slavery. Cancelling membership

Has become another rotten egg despite the glorious portfolio of properties and hard-working staff. Upper management have taken upon themselves to re-define the purpose without consultation. They do not own the public trust and do not have the right to do this without full consent.

TrustpilotFraudsters
Cancelled my membership after many years. Booking system is a joke. National Trust are fraudsters, quite clearly rinsing the furlough scheme for all itβs worth while taking full membership money for a drastically decreased service. Disappointing that as a matter of principle Iβll never rejoin

GoogleWell worth seeing. On field trip with Yr6 class, learned about WWII, experienced air raid shelter and what it was like to board train to countryside to flee bombings of city. Amazing and powerfully moving. For train enthusiasts, this place is a must see! Kid friendly. Great displays

Agree completely with the last few reviews. National Trust should be extending membership for the amount of time its properties are closed. I have a membership with Wakehurst Place (run by Royal Botanic Gardens) and they are extending for the duration of closure.Shame on you NT!!
