TrustpilotWent to Stourhead Gardens
Went to Stourhead Gardens, Warminster to meet a few friends in their cafe for lunch. We wanted a 10min walk before lunch.I was told I would have to pay the full £17 entrance fee plus another £4 for the parking! All 6 of us decided to eat elsewhere.Obviously we are not members, so not made welcome unless we joined the clan.

GoogleStandard National Trust fayre in the cafe though they were selling out of things even though it was barely past midday. Queues weren't long but they moved extremely slowly which was frustrating. The food itself was tasty enough but didn't seem to justify the cost or the wait when there are many other places for food very close by.

Ham House and grounds in Surrey are great but let down by poor quality food and slow service at Ham House cafe Many National Trust properties now seem to offer unimaginative menus which is really disappointing. Previously, many of the NT cafes were excellent.

TrustpilotMember's forgotten by national trust
Been paying for national trust for my family all these months, and can't get even book a ticket. Why don't they prioritize members? Within hours of booking slot being s made available fully booked up. If I go twice a month that is as much as ever. Extremely annoyed. I'll be cancelling my membership tomorrow morning!

GoogleWe used the big, spacious cafe and browsed the gift shop. A nice airy change from the cafes in the outlet centre itself. I had the all day breakfast frittata which came with slaw and a lot of salad.
The toilets are unisex with integral hand washing, as they are in really modern establishments.
Highly recommend.

Appalling we have been members for over 15 yrs. We will not be renewing membership would rather join English Heritage who appear to be treating members with respect. On line booking system a joke so explain even with restrictions what actually are we paying for we can't even get to park on a NT car park!!!

They've had months to set up a proper booking system, but looks like they've cobbled together one in a few days, and which is hopelessly unfit for purpose. Who has time to wait in a virual queue for hours with no guarantee of getting any tickets? Will be cancelling my direct debit.Sort this mess out NT!

TrustpilotGood value for money
We joined the NT recently, and have been really pleased with our experience so far. We've visited several sites and have enjoyed the differences between them all. The tea shops are rather overpriced, but we will bring our own food in future. It's good to know there is a site wherever we visit so UK holidays now have another dimension!

I joined our NT Our Place hoping to write some critical reviews of the NT. Seems they don't like this. When my wife tried to join, she was asked if she had any journalistic associations. She did. Registered this and was then told she didn't qualify for membership. What a nasty little organisation.

So i am still in the queue an hour later with no indication of when i will be able to get in. The Eventbrite system doesn't work for National trust and it drags them down. I appreciate we need a booking system just one that can handle the volume of traffic and keep users informed!

TrustpilotLove the NT and their properties
Love the NT and their properties, but the booking arrangements in the Covid scenario are a farce. Can't book anything. Terrible communication with members. I've been a member for years and probably haven't really got my money's worth given number of visits I do, but right now I'm thinking that I won't renew next Jan.

TrustpilotAshridge Estate Boundary trail walk
Just tried to complete the Ashridge estate boundary trail walk. It's beautiful countryside but unfortunately the NT map and directions are hopeless and inaccurate, especially between sections 4-6. Use an OS map and do not use the NT guide until updated correctly.

Very frustrating experience trying to renew membership with gift cards. Still unresolved despite one visit to NT property, 2 calls and one unanswered email from 6 days ago. Losing the will to renew!

TrustpilotEchoing what everyone says
Echoing what everyone says. Completely impossible to book. Emailed them to express my concern that as members we are In effect paying for others to enjoy sites we can’t visit. Didn’t even get an acknowledgement of the email. Don’t want to cancel my membership but will give it serious consideration unless things improve very soon.

TrustpilotPolitics politics - socialism and politics
We have been Trust members for many years.Sad to see the trust go from caring for heritage, to being a social justice, woke, BLM outlet.Good luck to Restore Trust, be sure to subscribe to them.We all need them.

TrustpilotNot all sites even listed
Although the national trust get given land etc to make money with they don't even have the decency to advertise every site. Lady on the phone said they only concentrate on the locations with buildings so they can still collect money from you. How bad is that ?? !!

TrustpilotBad, bad leadership.
We have become increasingly disappointed by the direction the Trust has taken in the last few years. From the climate change nonsense to the current virtue signaling it makes every wrong move possible. We ceased to be members several years ago and will not rejoin until a change at the top.

TrustpilotLost Trust!
We were members for many years. However, since the Trust ( a misnomer if I have ever seen one ) just fails to respond to communications once a query is raised. The Trust is now just a commercial organisation whose sole aim is to maximising revenue and does not deserve the benefits of the charitable status it currently enjoys.

A cumbersome website with little details. We are members of the national trust, but when we moved house we changed the address on the website. But 6 weeks later, our membership cards get sent out to the old address, it was lucky that they were honest to say that it was there. Poor.

TrustpilotNational Dis-Trust 😢
National Dis-Trust 😢 they pretend to care, and organisation that allows illegal hunting on their land. Of course the trust will tell you it's so called 'trail hunting ' but that's a lie. No hunts are monitored and there is plenty of evidence to show wildlife being targeted on their land. A disgraceful organisation built on lies.

TrustpilotApologise or loose your funding.
MPs and loyal members demand they apologise for their woke lunacy especially about Churchill, spoke to tourists today and they were appalled at the National Trusts behaviour, they come to this Country to see our historical sites and our Culture not to be given political views by wokes. Loose your funding or apologise.

TrustpilotPenbryn Beach, Ceredigion
Hugely disappointed to see so many dogs on the beach at Penbryn today, when it is clearly posted to say dogs not allowed on beach between May 1st and Sep 30th. NT obviously not even bothering to police their own properties to see if the rules are being followed

TrustpilotNATIONAL MISTRUST
The NT have cancelled our holiday. We have requested a refund. We believe that the NT terms and conditions are legally in breach of our consumer rights for a refund within 14 days of NT cancelling our holiday.Other providers of holidays are doing this without quibble. We have contacted the BBC to highlight the issue.

TrustpilotVery disappointed in the National Trust
Very disappointed in the National Trust. They seem to have lost sight of the historical past they should be preserving and have started promoting their own ideas about how history should be viewed. The properties are not staffed properly so much is not open and cafes don't have food!
