TrustpilotMembership extension
Like so many others I too am disappointed with N.T the right action of any decent organisation would be to extend this years membership. Having paid for joint membership last October all we have had is a walk round garden. N.T have never acknowledged this and assumed everyone was happy. ( it was never mentioned in all N.T correspondence!! )

TrustpilotTerrible Customer Experience
We cancelled our membership and they’ve still taken it from our account and now we cannot get through to anyone to sort it out!No answer via phone (100 mins on hold and counting) and still no reply 10 days after sending an email.

TrustpilotAre the N.T. acting illegally by not refunding lost membership months.
Shocking attitude by N.T in not extending membership renewal by the same amount of time they are closed. To offer a 25% reduction on your next renewal instead of extending your present one is ridiculous and possibly illegal. Surely we must be entitled to a pro-rata refund or extension of membership. Completely out of touch with the mood of its members.

TrustpilotWaited 7weeks to get into Cliveden
Waited 7weeks to get into Cliveden- No indication when booking opens each week- No advance notice for members- No ticket allocation for members Finally got lucky and got a slot ,on the day it was cancelled (power cut !?) ..no offer of an alternative time.So why do I pay for membership?? ..maybe I should just take a membership "gap year"

TrustpilotDespair.
Having just read the latest autumn copy of the N.T. Magazine, my next move was to go on line and cancel my direct debit subscription. After 30 years of enjoyable membership I found the WOKE agenda of Hilary McGrady and Tiger de Souza an insult to all reasonably intelligent people and a manifestation of the madness currently sweeping society.

TrustpilotBad Business Practice
How on earth can we be charged when the property's are closed and when now only same are open, we can not get a booking slot as all are fully booked. We are paying for a membership that can not be used. This should be addressed by national trust or I for one will not be renewing my membership next year.

TrustpilotBeen to 3 venues in the last few weeks
Been to 3 venues in the last few weeks, dogs not allowed in the main attractions outside. So Family membership will be cancelled next year. Automatic renewal now cancelled. We will take our money elsewhere. Not expecting a reply to this review.

TrustpilotFull refund
After writing 8 emails, about my membership and asking for a refund, with no luck, I contacted Hilary McGrady and was immediately refunded the full amount. I was also offered to defer the membership, but as we have both had our hours cut considerably decided to go for the refund. Thank you National Trust for (finally) doing the right thing

TrustpilotHow can people hate the National Trust…
How can people hate the National Trust so much?Yes some people can be a bit officious: "bags in front" and follow you around like you are a criminal.Yet for every twit there are a dozen others that work really hard and I really love many of the places we (wife and I) have been to. No, look elsewhere for your hate.

TrustpilotWales National Trust Newton House, Dinefwr Castle and grounds
Well worth a visit. Beautiful national trust property, Newton House, is situated in beautiful grounds. Lots of information displayed in the house backed up with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Lovely walks all around the woods with great views especially from the top of the stunning castle ruins.

TrustpilotSort the website out for booking…
Sort the website out for booking Christmas lights . Who knows how much I’ve just paid . Spent over half an hour messing about then for your website crashing soon as I press pay. A lot of hassle to see a few lightbulbs in a garden ! Joke of a greedy organisation.

TrustpilotAs so many others have stated
As so many others have stated, time to cancel my family membership.I have been a member for many years, and have continued to maintain payments during covid. The final straw, looking to book tickets for Christmas at Waddesden Manor, Members now expected to pay to attend after taking my money for nothing for the last 6 months, unbelieveable.

I love the National trust and believe they do some fantastic work in the communities. Recently visited some of their attractions along Hadrians wall which were interesting. It’s worth paying for an annual membership though as parking is expensive.

TrustpilotTerrible ‘correctness’
Terrible ‘correctness’. Not what it used to be. I am actually saddened I have life membership, it is a complete waste of money into woke pockets of people who know nothing about the true purpose of the NT. VERY VERY sad.

TrustpilotPoor Car Parking badges
The Car Parking badges sent out by the National Trust this year are very poor quality. They just will not stick on one's windscreen. I've had to buy a plastic holder for mine and our friends had to rescue their's from the vacuum cleaner after it had fallen off and got swept up.

TrustpilotHow do they get away with it?
How do they get away with it?I'd planned to cancel my membership this month, only to discover that it had been renewed. No reminder, no email, no way to cancel your membership in the portal, no help on how to cancel your membership. The word "cancel" only appears in their PC cancel-culture program. Will not be re-joining.

TrustpilotLyme Park
Lyme Park 4th time been turned away due to runners, car park full because of these.National trust member and can't visit. If you want Lyme park for runners then turn it into a running venue and see how much money you make from just the runners and no paying visitors. Will not keep membership renewed when it runs out..

TrustpilotPoor customer service
Just had my renewal letter payment by early June shocked really. NT properties have been shut for 3 months and probably will not open until after July. So last year got 9mths for the price of 12 and if I renew will get 10 if I’m lucky for the price of 12. Why no extension of membership
