GoogleThey were going to let us a flat with no planning permission. We were able to cancel our tenancy before we moved in but it was a very unexpected hassle to be dealing with as a tenant.
I rented a different property with them previously and they didn't fix issues that they said they would. Avoid.

Hi Dan. I have read your review and unfortunately we were led to believe the property had the appropriate planning permission for conversion to flats when we listed the property. As soon as we were alerted by you to the fact planning hadn't been granted we took appropriate action and the tenancy was cancelled. The flat will remain empty until the permission is granted.
I will look into the Fixflo enquiries you made in your previous Apt with us and reply with my findings. However, it does raise the question why you came to us to find you another property for another year if our service in the first year warranted a 1 out of 5 review.

GoogleDouble booked people in our rooms over summer despite the fact that we have paid a summer retainer, and my house mates are not able to move in to their rooms even though they have paid rent for them. Extremely un-helpful staff have not even offered a refund... the stereotype about ripping off students is 100% true with this agency

GoogleIf i had the option I would be giving this company many minus stars.
The staff in the Swansea office are nothing but rude, intimidating and have no care for their tennants health and wellbeing.
Showing other 'clients' around the rooms with no notice all with the end purpose of getting a holding fee and advertising under different names including many other sites but they all lead back to studentdigz. All faulse advertising, i would not trust my kids if they were students in their care anda ccommodation in fact id be extremely concerned. The o ky advice i can give for anybodybelse going through a really bad experience with this company is don't let them bully and try to manipulate because they are above the law.

gas. Lack of action on this is unforgivable. Certainly couldnt or wouldn't reccomend anyone entering into any tenancy with this agency.

Hello Hannah, thank you for leaving a review. We are very sorry you feel this way as it never our intention to leave a tenant unhappy. When you moved in last year you would have signed a moving in inventory and been given 7 days to check through it and make any changes necessary. This is then checked against the moving out inventory when you vacate at the end of your tenancy to identify any damages or missing items. In addition to this you are given our Fixflo link to report any repairs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the whole of your tenancy. If the issue you refer to was included in your move in inventory or had been reported via Fixflo during your tenancy we wouldn`t have made any deductions. If this is the case please let us know and we will investigate and be more than happy to reverse the deduction should we find you are correct. You can contact us at enquiries@studentdigz.com

Hello Miles, thank you for your review. We feel this is an incredibly unfair review as you are fully aware the landlord does their own moving in and moving out inventories. She authorized release of the full bond on the other property she owns which shows she does not deduct from the bonds without good reason. Any deductions made are made via The DPS which means you will have to agree to the funds being released. If you disagree you can opt for the matter to go to an independent adjudicator who will assess the evidence and make a decision. We cannot just take the money, it doesn`t work like that. If you would like to arrange a meeting at the office to look at the evidence presented by the landlord we are more than happy to do that.

GoogleIf it was possible to give this letting agency 0 stars I would. I have moved twice over two years to two separate student digz managed properties. They made both moves stressful and difficult to coordinate with movers and had no sympathy for the fact that we had no place to stay . Additionally, there's obviously a lack of communication within the team as we kept getting responses concerning the move. The staff is very friendly but there's a systematic failure within the organisation that needs to be dealt with. I will definitely not be using their services again.

GooglePoor service, we return the house in the original condition as how we received the house, the land lord came and inspect the house, he was happy. apply online to get full refund of the deposit, student digs came in and made a big complain of the damage which was already there when we got the house. They force us to close the account so they can take 30% of our deposits. Will not recommend this to anyone else
