Robinson and Jackson Blackfen had marketed a property with 'ample off street parking,' which consisted of 2 parking spaces on a driveway. After putting an offer in and getting accepted I asked to view the property again but the branch manager was reluctant to do so. I paid for the searches as he was being pushy then he was more relaxed about a second viewing. After asking again about the parking another estate agent confirmed she didn't know. She sent me the plans and after I checked them, it was clear no parking spaces belonged to the property.The branch manager said he would do what he would to get the matter resolved but obviously he couldn't do anything then he started to be quite rude again and was nit compromising between myself and the seller to re negotiate the price.I've now walked away from the property but lost out on £378 due to searches being paid for.Just be careful. Check everything don't be fooled by their marketing. I've got evidence of the marketing and the plans as they have now since changed it all.

GoogleIt is so sad that the Sales Office team at the Swanley Branch are let down by a rather sleepy Ebbsfleet Sales Progression Team. Marketing and sales was well handled by Gemma, Zack, Michelle and Matthew. The problems only started when the process was handed over to the Ebbsfleet Sales Progression Team. I chased many times trying to get updates as to why things were not progressing and they would only follow up with the buyers when I made enquiries. I never had confidence that the Ebbsfleet Sales Progression Team were proactively on top things. When I eventually gave up hearing over and over that the buyer’s were just waiting for their mortgage to be approved, I got on the phone to the Sales Progression Team who after four months exclaimed in a quite surprised tone “I don’t know what’s going on, they haven’t even got their mortgage approved yet!!” I do have some doubts about the robustness of the vetting of the buyers who we were advised had their mortgage offer and deposit in place. To improve things I would keep the sales process ownership with the Swanley Office, as the Ebbsfleet Sales Progression Team did not in my case ‘progress’ anything . Finally when I explained that I would be marketing the property afresh with a new competitor agent, no attempt was made to keep my business. I would have expected a call to say that they could re-market the property quicker than going with another agent, or that they had other interested leads on their books, or that they could go back out to the other parties who had also made offers, etc. but there was no such attempt. That really surprised me. To summarise, Senior Management need to look at the sales handover process of their business, as I suspect it is costing the branch teams dear. Thanks to the Swanley Sales Office Team for all their work though.

I had assumed once the offer was accepted, they would leave the solicitors to take over with me having to do any chasing myself. This was not the case at all. I had a difficult experience with the Belvedere branch.Some things were fine, such as the listing and the viewings.But they were also very unethical at times. For example they only told me that a prospective buyer's mortgage application failed two weeks after they learned of this. My property was off the market for much longer than necessary.
