My sister, a professional dentist (with 20 plus years of experience) relocating from a Scandinavian country, requested a flat viewing for a rental property. To our shock, the agent demanded intrusive private information about her financial situation, specifically asking what she owns.The Lettings Manager, Emily Boyle, displayed the worst attitude throughout the interaction, making it clear that my sister would not even be allowed to view the property unless she agreed to pay 12 months' rent upfront. This unprofessional conduct was utterly unacceptable.It’s clear that this agency needs to seriously retrain its staff. Never before have we experienced such interrogation just to schedule a simple property viewing. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this agency.NB: To the owner of Wards, please listen to the voice recorded tapes from Sep 26 2024 on how Emily interacts with potential clients.
To assist our landlords and tenants alike, we ask relevant questions to establish a potential tenant’s ability to pass referencing before they commence viewings. Excellent service received from all the staff at the letting agency at ward and partners in particular Laura Cale. Laura keeps us updated with news of our property including when tenants are about to leave and when new tenants are about to arrive. Laura is both professional and friendly and takes an active interest in all her clients we are happy that she is working on our behalf, we are about to include a second property for Laura and her team to look after on our behalf, keep up the good work Laura!

Let’s face it, estate agents often get a poor reputation, people say they are pushy, don’t listen, send you to the worst properties etc and sometimes it’s true however this was not our experience with Wards Ramsgate Branch.This was a particularly difficult purchase for us following a bereavement and every single member of staff in there helped support us and worked tirelessly to find a portfolio of properties for us to look at. I was so stressed at one point, I got a terrible headache and soon paracetamol and cold drinks appeared from the team so we could keep looking. The staff laughed with us, supported us and one point even cried with us - they are the loveliest team we have ever met.After looking at 65 properties in total, it was Natalie from the Ramsgate Branch who struck gold, every single thing we had asked for, she delivered, her attention to detail was above and beyond. She even made sure the viewing could happen late afternoon so I could go after work. Natalie couldn’t have been more helpful and I am delighted we finally found somewhere, we cannot wait to complete now and move into our forever home. Thank you again Natalie and thank you Wards!

I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Wards in fully managing my property in Kent. Their lack of attention to landlords is evident, as I have found myself constantly chasing them for updates and basic tasks. They have failed to meet their contractual obligations, including sending me the inventory and conducting the promised three-month property inspection for fully managed clients. Additionally, their communication has been poor, with delayed responses to my emails, despite the fees I am paying for their services. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Wards and will not be working with them again.

I purchased this house new approximately 17.5 years ago. Recently, during a bathroom renovation, the drywall was removed, revealing a partition made of grey blocks. These blocks appear to be poorly secured to each other, as the partition moves slightly when touched. It is evident that the mortar used to join these blocks does not properly bind them together. This raises serious concerns about the structural reliability of the construction. I recommend potential buyers pay close attention to such partitions and conduct a thorough inspection to avoid future issues.

Excellent service from James and his team in Ramsagte. I had previosuly been under contract with a different agent, who were absloultly usless. Wards took over the marketing of my property and I've had more viewing and offers in two weeks, then I had in the previous agent in 5 months. I've now sold my property at full market value. Communication has been excellent and everyone I've spoken to in the branch has been extremely professional and approachable, including James and Billy. I will recommend Wards and would use their services again in the future.
