It took finance at M+B over a week to remit the rent each month.It also took M+B a month to advise us that our tenant had gone into a nursing home-already notified by Folkestone Council on 19 January? GoogleOur initial impressions of the Faversham office were good - they responded to our requests and communicated well. However, a member of staff went on paternity leave and another left (who we had negotiated the fee with) and we suddenly got no responses. Also, they closed the Faversham office during the pandemic whereas other estate agents stayed open - and didn't open it again till later in the year - and then only had it open a few days a week so the "marketing" spiel they gave us that people would drop in to ask for viewings didn't happen. We were under the impression they would do more than just list the property on the online websites but they didn't appear to do anything - and when viewings dropped off, they suggested that we reduce the price to get it further up the websites to encourage more people to see it! I think the viewings were handled well by Graham and Hollie-Anna - but in the end, we didn't get many viewings through the door so I just don't think they were very proactive Susan who was our sales progressor was also great and very communicative, helping to move the sales process along once we had an offer but all in all, we weren't overly impressed with the service we received

I was pleasantly surprised how painless and quick it it all was. They also introduced to really good solicitors which really helped and a member of their team (Louise Daly) was always on hand with any questions or worries I had. I have just completed on my lovely new home in Ramsgate, with a seaview, thanks largely to the quick thinking of Chelsea at Miles & Barr. I had seen the house on Rightmove before but it had been snapped up already. I was viewing another property with Chelsea and happened to mention the house, she said that the house may come back on the market and fitted me in for a quick dash round (after we spent about 15 minutes trying to unlock the door). The outcome was that I got my dream house! Then came the nightmare solicitor charade, but Suzanne at M&B helped through the whole process, always at the end of the phone and a delight to deal with.
