Not all heroes wear capes..

Louise Daly is worth her weight in gold, and any buyer or seller will be lucky to have her on their team. She was consistently excellent and often more effective than the solicitors at moving things forward. Always available, always proactive, and more than once, blurred the line between sales progressor and shoulder to cry on! The sale was painful, and without her I simply don't believe it would have gone through. Miles and Barr are lucky to have you Louise!

Successful sale in tough circumstances!

As first time sellers, we were a bit nervous about the process of getting maximum profit whilst feeling like we were in safe hands. James Cussen really believed in the property we were selling, and when eventually our first buyer came through, it was also our last! Also shout out to Katie Rigden & Freddie Haycock who were always on hand when my wife and I had worries about the lack of movement.

The whole team was fantastic at…

The whole team was fantastic at assisting us with our purchase. We initially dealt with Joe and Maddy at the start of the process who were very helpful and accommodating. Once the transaction had progressed we dealt mainly with Melissa, who I may add is a star! She kept us informed the whole way through. Updated us consistently, we never had to chase or query nothing and she was always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions we had. This was our first time dealing with Miles and Barr and certainly won’t be the last!

Louise Daly was my contact at Miles & Barr for the purchase of a property in Margate. I am an Australian who was buying sight unseen ahead of a move to the UK. Being overseas throughout the process could have been difficult. Fortunately Louise made everything a breeze! She went above and beyond to ensure each stage of the purchase kept moving and helped navigate any challenges. Her communication is excellent and she always kept me well informed. Rebecca very diligent and supportive, better contact on actual day would have been helpful.

The stars are for the personal contact, initial office personnel, keeping us informed especially Rebecca. The lost star is for the confusion at the end of the process. We were to the wire with our seller’s agent constantly giving us updates. When I rang Miles and Barr we were told the money was with the solicitor, we then rang the solicitor to be told no, it was 4: 45pm before we got the keys. Very stressful. Hiccups along the way not of your making.

Rebecca has been incredible!

Rebecca has been incredible! She was our Sales Progressor and with a very complicated chain, she was the lynch pin that kept it all moving. Even the solicitors were leaning on her to keep everyone in line. I honestly dont think we would of got this far without her and I can't thank her enough, She is a credit to Miles and Barr and worth the fee all on her own! Also Ethan did an incredible job negotiating the offer, we explained our budget for the house and he worked his magic to get our offer agreed aswell as the sale on our house.

We have purchased a property with Miles and Barr acting as vendors and just exchanged. Sales progressors Debbie Mead and Becky White have been excellent from start to finish in a very challenging chain, in which we have been in for almost 9 months. The communication was brilliant, keeping us in the loop with progress and really driving the urgency and were instrumental in keeping the chain happy and on track for a swift exchange and moving date. Responses were clear and timely and even heard back on weekends. Both Becky and Debbie have made this process much less stressful, thank you!

Just wanted to share our fabulous experience when we had a little tour of Faversham with the wonderful Julie a few weeks ago. Lovely on the phone and so enthusiastic about our impending move and our decision to relocate. It was like talking to an old friend instantly. So caring and genuinely interested and wanted the best for us as a little young family. Julie (with support from Fran in the office who sounded lovely too) showed us round some properties which perfectly fitted the bill, understanding our needs completely. Not only knowledgeable about the properties and the stories behind each move, she showed us transport links, schools, playgrounds, sports clubs, shops... Louise Daly, firstly I have to say that Louise is a super star and without her support I would have lost the plot on a number of occasions. Louise is calm, diligent, reliable & caring, she has the ability to spin many plates very successfully and with ease. Louise is the main lynch pin between buyers, sellers, solicitors on both sides, management companies and even councils should the need arise. All of which she manages with expertise, charm and professionalism. Louise is a wonderful human being, she is passionate, she makes sense and talks in plain English, she keeps you in the loop at all times, she works extremely hard and is a huge asset to Miles & Barr. I have nothing but praise for Louise, like I said at the start of this review she is a super star and speaking to some of her colleagues at Miles & Barr they all have the same praise for her. So thank you Louise you are a life saver in the midst of Solicitor jargon, I truly believe you worked harder, was more reliable and made more sense than the solicitors so you should be paid their fees.

I had a viewing with Jed and Julie and I wanted to share my positive feedback of my experience with Miles & Barr. Julie was very informative, great with communication and was coming up with ideas of what to do with the space and improvements that could be made to the property. Jed had only been there a month a month and was early to the appointment which I really appreciated. As a whole the communication was great with Miles and Barr - I have already sold my property through another agent, however I would certainly go with Miles and Barr if I sell in the future. Great communication and service from Louise in Margate

We have recently been with Miles & Barr in regards to selling our property in Margate, from March until now. Brilliant experience of renting

Good experience selling our home with the deal branch. Luke H was great at communicating with us and keeping us informed and also Aimee during the viewing process. Jade the sales progressor also did a great job updating us and handling any concerns after the offer was accepted. After having challenging first buyers they went out of their way to get us a new better offer and see it through to exchange of contracts. I would use them again if I ever look to move again.

Emily stickler was our contact point for the purchase of our first home, she was great from start to finish and got involved when we needed her too chasing paperwork,solicitors.Emily also kept us up to date fully with the process week by week and we were able to complete in a month as no chain either side because of the fast efficient service she provided.
