Very poor property management and communication. I reported a leak more than two weeks ago. Even though they are paid to manage my flat they did not even know about the leak. No effective action was taken, and when I called to follow up on the ongoing severe leak, instead of apologizing for not taking the leak as an emergency, Chloe from lettings, accused me of “lying” despite having already provided her with video evidence. I repeatedly asked for the manager (Tom) to contact me, but was told he was “not available,” and even though he was copied in emails, he never called back or replied to my emails. The leak and mould issues have not been handled with the urgency expected for emergencies. Appalling service. I do not recommend them at all

Butlers have been incredible. We came to them for advice after going through a round of trying to sell our flat which fell through due to circumstances we could not control. We were down on our luck and Dom visited us and laid out our options in a clear and matter of fact way but also gave us hope. Where it took us a year to get an offer on our flat through a previous estate agent, Butlers managed to get us an offer in a month. Thanks to the entire team - Dom, Hannah and Joanna but special mention to Hayleigh who drove our sale through to the end. The thing that Butlers do so well is their level of communication. Every team member knew exactly who I was when I called the office. Hayleigh was on it when it came to chasing all aspects of the sale, whether that be speaking to us, the buyer or the solicitors. On top of this, she was incredibly kind and empathetic of our situation and made the whole process entirely painless. She was easy to get in touch with by email and phone and really reactive when things came up that needed to be sorted. Butlers also have an online portal where you can see when your viewings are and what the feedback is. You can also track where everyone is in the sales process which is incredibly helpful as selling can be so stressful. The transparency that Butlers provide is incredibly helpful. I would recommend Butlers to anyone who is looking to buy or sell. Not only is their communication second to none, they are also empathetic and compassionate but most of all, they have a positive mindset. The comparison to other experiences we have had with other estate agents is off the charts. Thanks to everyone at Butlers for shepherding us through to the next phase of our life!

We couldn’t recommend butlers enough, as the buyer it was just pot luck for us that the seller decided to use butlers, but we are so grateful he did, Hannah was our agent from the very beginning and she honestly could not do enough to make this as easy for us as possible, always replied to emails promptly, always answered calls straight away or called back quickly, Iv heard from other people who have had other agency’s that they have had to chase and chase but we never had anything like that with butlers, Hannah calmed me down when I was stressing out and really eased my mind, honestly couldn’t ask for a better service. Dom and his team are amazing! Nothing was too much answering all questions as it was our first ever purchase. We was previously messed around and told false bids with other estate agents trying buy our first home it made us very skeptical of all estate agents and uneasy with the buying process. However, when we met Dom on a viewing we felt at ease he was so lovely and not trying to force a sale he was so kind and let us make the decision in our own time. The best compliment I could pay to Butler’s Estate Agency is to tell you that they have reinstated my faith in this industry. If you are looking for a professional, polished, honest , trustworthy team to support you through the general trauma of house buying and selling , then I could not recommend them highly enough. We had over 2 years of moving between Highstreet and online high-profile agents that only amounted to failed chains, false hope and a lot of stress and cost whilst the market became even more challenging. I transferred to Butlers through recommendation and never looked back. They really understand how this industry operates and use their wealth of experience to excellent effect and after 2 years of wrangling with the local highwaymen, we completed just before Christmas in just over 3 months with Butlers. Gone are the days of local knowledge is king, Butlers are in a different county to our location but their marketing approach and skills and personal approach are in a different league to the local agents. We still had a bumpy ride but we came through this with confidence which testomy to Dominic and Hannah and Hayleigh and what a great team this is and what excellent value for money. I bought a property that was marketed by Butlers and they certainly stood out from all the other estate agents / bigger high street names that I’ve come across. Dom, Hayleigh and team were extremely warm and friendly throughout and marketed the property very well for their seller - they ensured the relevant documents and anticipated questions were prepared upfront which made it possible for us to make an offer and proceed through the survey stage at pace. Butlers were essential in getting us to the exchange stage at speed - they were a god-send in chasing solicitors and mortgage brokers on both sides to keep the process moving for the seller and I, who both needed to complete in a short time frame. There were also a couple of curve-balls in this transaction and Dom in particular did an excellent job to pivot and respond to those issues to keep us on track. I would certainly turn to Butlers if I have a property I need to market - they brought a friendly helping hand and an organized diligent attitude to what could have been a much more stressful and prolonged process!
