A neighbour of mine experienced a leak affecting the downstairs flat where 2 elderly ladies were having to paddle around in foul water. On contacting the agent and explaining that an emergency plumber was needed, I was told that I was being rude! I would and will never use Burne and Warne now, out of principle.

GoogleI returned to Burn and Warne for the sale of a house I had bought through them 16 years ago as thought they'd been fair to me as a buyer. I wasn't disappointed as a seller; the experience and maturity of the team is invaluable, being supportive, honest and understanding in an unpredictable market. I'd highly recommend them.

GoogleNegatives: Poor communication very opaque operating way and no Zero support in financial advice and or conveyancing Positives : may be realistic valuation Will I recommend them to my friends: No. I finally sold my house and bought our dream house and gone through this stressful process and dealth with three different estate agents. I must say that compared with other two estate agents Cromwell and Gascgoin Pees, the services provided by B&W were appalling and resulted in very stressful period with missing out on the opportunity despite having favourable financial conditions. Their biggest weakness is poor communication and buyer has to chase the agent repeatedly. On the contrary Cromwells experience was very different with prompt communication and transparent.

Burn & Warne are old school estate agents, they'll want to market the your property low to get a quick turnaround to release their money with minimal hours spent by their staff. Had a legal issue with the buyer, B&W where absolutely useless and didn't want to help. I eventually got the answer myself after 15 minutes of research on the internet, which beggers the question why B&W coudn't have answered the query as this is their area of "expertise" (buying and selling property). As the vendor i did not feel they had my best interests. Their after sales liason was also poor and obvilously didn't have the personality for the role. Shop elsewhere or use an online agent- you will begrudge giving this lot their commission.

GoogleI bought my house with Burne and Warne. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Burne and Warne are the best state agents in the UK. They have a brilliant service and very good professionals. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend these state agents.

GoogleDishonest letting agent. Attempted to hold deposit after moving out, for the reason of "cleaning charge", while no evidence was provided. Did not even try to contact me in this regard. Tenants be aware.

GoogleUseless agents, made no effort at all to bring in viewings, no communication at all even after viewings, Julia would call & visit personally to get the contract signed & afterwards never bothered to call at all. A gigantic waste of time!

GoogleVery unprofessional service from this estate agents. They generally cannot be bothered to respond to enquiries about viewing properties, either by phone or email - seem to prefer to just ignore them instead. Certainly won't bother ringing up about any more viewings in future, and would not be recommending them to any prospective buyers. It seems other customers have had a similar experience looking at other reviews..

GoogleJohn from the the agency was always very friendly , welcoming very polite and professional . Eliot also very nice . They act professional presenting the offers for rent. They take the time to explain everything regarding renting. Also you can call and ask about any problems or information you need and they are happy to help . We recommend this agency !

GoogleI have recently sold two of my properties through this company and i would highly reccomend their service . Their valuations are very accurate ,unlike some i received , and all staff were always extreemly helpful from start to finish . An all round excellent service !!

GoogleProperty listed same day, called up same day asked to view, told they hadn't even got the keys yet, asked to view next day. Booked day off work, 9am next day "oh sorry it's gone someone saw it yesterday". Disgusting and unprofessional. Don't bother renting from this company or ever arranging a viewing.

GoogleReally disappointed with this agency. Both me and my partner have had to chase up information/ correspondence with John with limited/ no response. We haven’t had a good experience with Burn and Warne and we wouldn’t recommend them.
