Nothing but awful management!

Nothing but awful management! I asked for my windows to be repaired after 3 years of suffering with freezing temperatures and when they finally sent someone out (Yes it literally took them three years) they gave me a section 21 as they convinced the Landlord it was easier to turf me out than to actually fix the windows after they finally did an assessment.When questioned about the section 21, they said that it was Belvoir have put up a 'to let' sign. So they obviously lied.The property was absolutely disgusting when I moved in, it hadn't been cleaned and had only been painted. The front door was hanging off, the floor was poorly tiled so kept sticking to mine and my cats feet.Infested with flour beetles and silverfish. Was consistently gaslit by Penny and Alex claiming it was all the Landlord, when in reality it was Belvoir sending out the cheapest cowboys.I had their section 21 assessed by Citizens Advice and found it wasn't actually a legal one due to a number of missing documents they never legally supplied to me and that if taken to court it would be thrown out but I have opted to move due to how much I hate this property and it's 'Management'.Quick to take your money and demand rent increases, but will never help you or do the repairs needed. AVOID AVOID. Unprofessional. The worst agents I have ever dealt with.

Nidhi from Belvoir Sutton (Carshalton Beeches) invited me to a seminar about BTL; I attended slightly cynical about a free seminar but Nidhi and her team proved that not all Estate Agents are the same, I got loads of good free advice without anyone ever mentioning anything about selling or buying. In fact Nadhi invited me again the following month to another seminar (about Inheritance tax) and again no selling. Nidhi is building loyalty even before you even buy anything.

Belvoir Sutton manage several of my buy-to-let properties in South London. They also got the job of putting my 5 bed property in Coulsdon on the market for sale. Nidhi gave us great advice about how to get the property ready for the tenant market. Belvoir's tenant finding service made our lives so much easier than we could have dreamed off - the first family who came to view the house were fully checked and met all of the requirements. More than a year on , they have proved to be fantastic tenants, as a result of Belvoir's lettings management service. Belvoir's Rent Guarantee Scheme means that the rent is always paid on time, every time. Belvoir also fix problems in the property quickly, using the right tradesmen at reasonable costs. For the first time in the 15 years we have been in the Buy-To-Let business, we are able to enjoy our investments and getting good returns as a result of Belvoir's services. I also couldn't be happier with Belvoir's property sales service that has already arranged viewings the day after my property went on the market. Much of the fast response is due to their extensive work sourcing potential buyers before the property was listed, their use of modern technology such as 360 degree images, and their availability to carry out viewings as and when called upon. I highly recommend Belvoir Sutton for property sales, lettings and management

I am confident and happy to say that Nidhi is Very talented and professional . She did fantastic job for letting my property in 2 days time . I recently rented out an apartment from Belvoir Sutton. All my interactions for the transaction were with Gordan and Nidhi. I'd like to start with an appreciation for Nidhi for going the extra mile and making all arrangements for the viewing as per my convienence (as I was only available on the weekends). They stood true to the handout date as promised which was my expectation. They have always been available for my phone calls never leaving me in any limbo. I would highly recommend them for anyone having a hard time with shady agents and is looking out for a smooth transitioning with moving. One of the toughest part of moving was handled very professionally by Belvoir Sutton

They just don’t care about tenants. Keep putting up rent price when property has damp and mould with other structural issues. They take away a person’s sense of home, rude on the phone and in emails. If I could give a minus score, I would.

This is a review for Belvoir Estate Agents in Ilford, Gants Hill. I was appalled by the level of unprofessionalism demonstrated by one agency in a single interaction. They had a property that was already under offer with the sale going through displayed as ON SALE on Rightmove. I was booked in to see said property on Monday after having contacted them about it on Friday - no mention of under offer or sale in progress to me. I turned up on Monday to view the property and the person a gentleman called Carl had no idea what property I was there to see. He then informs me that the property is already sold but they might have had some issues. I travelled an hour to get to the viewing only to be informed of this at the appointment. He then took me to view the property and we were greeted by the owner at the door who informed him that they had an exchange date in place. A lot of things need to be questioned - Why was a property that's undergoing a sale advertised as 'on sale' on site? Why are they booking people in to view the property? Why do they not know if the property they are advertising for sale is being sold or not? And how is it that the staff do not communicate with each other in such a small office? If this is the level of professionalism demonstrated for a property viewing, I can only imagine what they'd be like to deal with should you decide to choose them as your agents.

Unbelivable to treat customers this way

Belvoir have just taken over Steeles estate agents in Sheldon, Birmingham. As of the moment they took hold of the reigns to the company it went downhill with the following issues taking place. I contacted the office to ask what was happening to the sale of my property as I had received an offer under Steeles, which I accepted, but then all had gone quiet. I also did a visit to my property after a showing to find they had left the house UNLOCKED at the rear and left curtains and blinds open, even though they were instructed to close them after the showings. When I visited the office I was told that the original staff had left, and the new manager (Spencer) was now managing my account and they forwarded me his email details which I used to contact him with. After a week of no contact I then decided to visit the office, to which I was greeted by two ladies who were very polite, but could tell me nothing as they had no clue what was happening under the new management regime with the sales side of the business (oh and they had left my house unlocked yet again after a showing). I was then told someone would contact me on the Monday (17th Oct) as a matter of urgency but yet again no sign of any efforts to contact me. I again went to the office and this time asked for the keys to my property and insisted they removed my details and the 'For Sale' board from my home ASAP. Steeles were a fantastic company which my family always used to sell their homes, and with a week of buying the business Belvoir have managed to destroy it's reputation as I have now been told by other upset customers how bad they are.

Very professional from start to finish. Removed the burden of renting out our property completely out of our hands. We had few viewings in as many days and the rest as they say was history. Very transparent with regular updates but above all always available to lend support and advice as we were new landlords. I am the guarantor for my friend’s kids and even just as a guarantor i have had terrible experience with them. They pretend to be award winning, but are the least possible competent people in that business… the person i spoke with tried to talk her way out of it, using posh talk and pretending she knew what she was talking about but when i really made my case she was speechless and did not know what to say. As the guarantor. Should have gotten the moving in inspection report. Even after requesting it twice i still have not got it… called again and they said “all the guarantors got it”. Well no!!This the THE estate agent to avoid if you are in brighton!

Poor Service

We were letting a property via the Derby office of Belvoir letting. We raised concerns about the tenant's behaviour which wasn't acted upon. The tenant subsequently left leaving the property in a mess.The communication from then on was very poor. 10 days before we were advised of the poor condition of the property, 1 month to get cleaners in. We weren't kept informed of what work was to be carried out or when. No inspection carried out after work was carried out. Two and a half months before the invoice for cleaning was sent to us making it too late to query what had been done.This company needs to improve the level and quality of communication with it's customers.Would not recommend this company's services to anyone.
