Tenants, be careful

UPDATED: As a tenant, Belvoir wasn't my option. With that said, during my four-year tenancy, things were fine. Unfortunately, at the end of my tenancy, I had to go through plenty of stress getting my deposit back from a dishonest landlord. Belvoir Welwyn could've done something to prevent the situation. Over a month after leaving the property and after a very intense back and forth comms, I was able to get a decent amount of my deposit back, mostly thanks to Carlie H. from Belvoir. Tenants, be careful at the end of your.tenancy!

Very terrible company… they are always looking for ways not to pay you back your holding deposit… even after email conversations asking for repairs and bringing their attention to an issue, they ignore and turn a blind eye just because their focus is on your holding deposit. in my case, upon entry, they gave me an inventory containing some pictures that clearly showed damages to some items but upon the end of my tenancy and when I moved out, they now claim those things where damaged by me and now asking me to pay for it… this can never happen as I still have the initial inventory pictures sent to me upon my renting this property…

Terrible as we are still waiting for…

Terrible as we are still waiting for our deposit to be returned after weeks. We had professional cleans in that Belvoir have used themselves yet saying it wasn't professionally cleaned. We left the original blinds and other items that were the landlords in a cupboard and Belvoir say we left rubbish it was theirs not ours! They are trying anything to not pay us our deposit back in full and we have to wait until its decorated and re cleaned for them to decide what deposit if any will be received back to us. All our inspections have been very positive even to the point being told that we are keeping the property well looked after. Never again will I use Belvoir

Lack of communication. U having to cal them all the time which is unprofessional . They use a company called let alliance and I think there aim is just to get money from you and reject . The sleaford team on my opinion was crap . Just all about taking money not intrested in anything out

Even though you give them every detail of your documents, prove your income and everything they require, they still are going to reject you ! Unfortunately I do not normally leave a negative review! However this time I decided I must because I’ve had no response to some correspondence I’ve sent to my local Belvoir representative! I am very disappointed and upset that my representative told me that my property had been on the market for a while and he needed to end contract as it made him look silly ! I felt that was not a professional way to end the contract and have had no response or much interest or information on the sale of my property! And the agent come to me to ask me and told me they wanted to sale my property I did not ask them anyway it’s with regret I feel this way

Shocking just shocking

Wanted a valuation for a 4 bedroom house, 3 bedroom house and a 1 bedroom house. After more than 2 weeks I called to say I had not heard any news. Told they had misspelt my name and would resend the email. Nothing, so I called again but this time I spoke to Andrew himself who stated he needed more time ?, I had come all the way from Devon for this so I was not happy especially when we hit the nail on the head and he told me I had just reminded him, basically he hadn't done anything stating " I forgot I'm only being honest". How does an appointment and viewing get forgotten...Well, it's because he had been busy with paying customers as he continued to insult me. Even when I reminded him that paying customers start with a viewing he still tried to blag me....obviously Belvoir did not get my business.

If i could put 0 stars i would, absolutely the worst tenancy agency i have ever had to deal with. They don't answer the phone, it literally rings and hangs up. I was overcharged on my electricity bill and they couldn't do anything because the apartment was privately owned so they were blaming the billing agent who also couldn't do anything because they management company didn't receive a notification from belvoir that my heaters weren't even working. Stacey was the one who i was in contact with and she was literally ignoring my emails and replying back as if she was using a template to respond to my emails. if i could describe in one word on my experience it would "shambles". DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
