I met Ryan at Humphrey and Brand during a couple of viewings which he arranged for me around Surbiton. Ryan listened to my needs and unlike other agents I have come across, he gave me the space to make my own decision. In other words I didn’t feel pushed into making an offer. My purchase has taken over a year to go through, during which time Laura at H&B has been maintaining a tight communication between all parties involved, managing my expectations, giving me clear and honest answers and handling the whole process exceptionally well. After I had moved in, Ryan helped me find out some information about the kitchen units at the property from the previous owners, which he didn’t have to do but was kind enough to follow up on my enquiry. I’m a very satisfied customer, thank you Ryan and Laura for making this stressful process feel so much more comfortable. I hope to see you both at the house warming party very soon!

My mother needed to sell her very nice house in one of Surbiton`s prestigious river roads. I contacted the three obvious big name estate agents in Surbiton, and they all had the same sales pitch, `they all have many branch offices across London from which they could entice potential buyers to Surbiton`, and in return pay them a very large sum of money if a sale is successful. My mother didn’t have much time for the pushy sales pitch from these agents, so she took a friends advise and spoke to Humphrey & Brand. Laura Humphrey visited my mum, and gave no pushy sales pitch. Instead Laura made very clear that H&B aim to differentiate themselves by making a real effort with respect to customer satisfaction. My mother was feeling particularly fragile / vulnerable following my fathers death late 2017, and Laura took this on board and planned the entire viewing / sales process such that my mother was sheltered from much of the stress of selling her house. Eight viewings were scheduled for the first Saturday, and an offer was received from one of those viewings. The offer exceeded our expectations, and exceeded the estimates proffered by the three big name estate agents, and icing on the cake was that the buyers were not in a chain, couldn’t be better! Further down the sales/purchase chain there were a few complex issues causing delays and uncertainty, but throughout the process Laura stepped in and protected our best interests in a very straightforward, no nonsense, professional manner. My experience with purchasing five other houses in the past, is that estate agents typically take a back seat and expect the solicitors to resolve difficulties, but Laura stuck to her promise of customer satisfaction and chased the many complex issues through to successful resolution. In summary, selling, buying and moving is a stressful experience, my mum lucked out by following her gut instinct and choosing to use Humphrey & Brand. I cant recommend Laura and her team highly enough. Much appreciated.

I had an excellent experience with Humphrey & Brand in Surbiton. Their lettings team was extremely professional and efficient in helping me view and secure a two-bed flat in central Surbiton. The whole process was made incredibly simple and straightforward. While, of course, they act primarily on behalf of the landlord, I still felt very well looked after as a potential tenant. Communication was quick, clear, and proactive, and any concerns I raised were addressed immediately.
