GoogleAfter trying 2 different estate agents over a 12 month period we went to Gascoigne-Pees in early 2024. We were delighted to receive a much better experience. In a difficult market at the time of trying to sell our house, early in 2024 they provide regular updates and feedback on how to better market the property and we successfully sold the house in April 2024. The after sales care in working between the various solicitors and our buyer was exceptional and the team come highly recommended. Thank you team West Byfleet fab job!

GoogleWe recently used the services of Gascoigne Pees in West Byfleet to sell our home and were extremely pleased with their service. In what is a challenging market they went above and beyond to ensure the marketing was on point , and that they updated us on every step of our sale . We were especially happy with the sales progression team , namely Janene , who was fully invested in making the sale happen ( never an easy thing at the moment ) . I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell in this current climate speak to Gascoigne Pees , making the wrong choice of Estate Agent ( as we did a year before ) in this market will make life very difficult , whereas I can't fault the approach of the whole team at Gascoigne Pees .

I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. My experience with this agency at the end of my tenancy was extremely negative, and one staff member in particular, Freya, made the situation even worse. In my opinion, she spoke to me with absolutely no respect and seemed to think that talking to tenants in a dismissive, condescending manner was acceptable. From my interaction with her, it’s clear she has a lot to learn about how to communicate professionally. Some of the comments she made were completely unnecessary, and honestly, she would benefit from learning when it’s better to keep certain remarks to herself rather than speaking to people the way she did. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, and I strongly believe she needs proper customer service training. My overall impression is that she is not equipped to speak with tenants in a respectful or professional way, and that absolutely needs to be addressed. No member of staff has the right to speak to me the way she did. Because of this, I will be taking this complaint further through the appropriate channels, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so other tenants are aware of how they may be treated. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I refuse to let it go unaddressed.

These agents in Basingstoke pressured me into making a holding deposit after seeing a property that I was interested in. I provided all the details for reference checks. They later came back telling me that my employers declined giving a reference until my probation is ended which is no fault of mine. I have contacted my employers personally on more than one occasion to get this sorted out, but was not successful. This agency contacted me requesting for a guarantor and as a foreigner, I could not provide the needed guarantor (UK home owner with £44k annual salary). The next few hours, the property was back on the market without saying anything to me about my holding deposit. When I contacted them, they told me I have provided false and misleading information (failed reference checks) which was very shocking to me. Avoid them at all cost.

Special thanks to Richard and James who kept us sane with solicitors incompetence and buyers chipping at the last minute, and lastly thanks to Liz T for the stamp duty cut.

GoogleI received excellent service in a house purchase. Both Jordan and Sara were incredibly helpful and efficient, particularly in resolving some complications which occurred effectively and in a timely manner. They were always friendly and easy to contact. In fact even the estate agent selling our house commented on how good they were! Highly recommended.

I cannot thank Emily (head of lettings, Farnham office) enough for finding me new tenants after poor experience with previous agent (a completely different company.) She achieved a 35% increase in gross rent for me, too! I noted more proactivity in 3 weeks from GPees than in 3 years from their predecessors. I was kept fully informed before and after every viewing, and despite most viewings taking place in appalling wet weather there was never a sign of recent footfall across the brand new carpet. If I could give them six stars, I would!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The property was online within a couple of days of Zoe's initial visit, viewings were booked quickly but with consideration of our schedule - with Kim helping us at all stages of the sale too. Janene was also extremely helpful in chasing all parts of our chain to ensure we completed as fast as possible, keeping everyone up to date with the process. Ed was also really helpful and guided us through all of the paperwork, answering any questions we had with as much detail as possible to help us make the right decision for us. All in all we would definitely recommend the team at Chessington - we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and perseverance!

Unbelievable, I mean unbelievable, customer service.Spencer De Jonge went above and beyond to help answer my questions, and guide me on some areas of real estate in the Camberley area. I’d actually asked a number of estate agents the same questions, and none of them were prepared to answer them or really help in any particular way. Spencer, straight as an arrow - answered them all.
