GoogleRenting with this agency has been such a tiresome experience. I will never rent with 1st avenue Croydon again. They do not tackle issues in your property quick enough. This then leads to further issues in your property! They will then try to pawn the cost off on to you for the additional issues. They will protect the landlord at all costs they honestly do not care about tenants. I haven’t once felt like they had my back. They are here to please the landlords ultimately and will throw tenants under the bus. I can’t wait to move out and have no communication with them. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MENTION. They took 4 months to fix my bed which resulted in me having a bad back for MONTHS (from sleeping on the floor or sofa & broken bed) this then lead to me having a back condition. They took so long to fix the slats under the bad that the mattress began to sink in. Then refused to replace the mattress As they believe I should cover the cost. When the mattress wouldn’t have sunk in HAD THEY FIXED THE BED QUICKER. They can’t seem to get it through their heads. I emphasised to nimah, Veverly and the rest in the team that when issues are not dealt with straight away it leads to MORE issues. (Eg sleeping on a broken bed will lead to a broken mattress) (not fixing a freezer door will lead to the freezer over frosting and thus breaking the freezer draws) They still push back and try to blame me as if I would purposely break a bed or a fridge. The team only have the best interest of the landlord they could care less about the tenants they are supposed to be in support of! What justice or compensation do I get from this ?? Nothing but a bill at the end of my tenancy. No formal apology was made. I will fight against this with everything I have ! As I now have a messaged up back and I am suffering medically due to their neglect and lack of empathy! My quality of life and mental health was so low during those 3/4 months I was sleeping on the sofa. Nimah was my original property manager. She is now on maternity leave - she was very aware of all our issues - to our face would smile and act empathetic but once behind email would do nothing about it. Veverly is clueless as she is left to pick up nimahs mess and the rest of the team are probably just as rubbish. They emphasise that if you don’t use their cleaning company to carry out the end of tenancy clean it’s likely you will be billed. They are CHEAP and unresponsive. When I first moved in to my flat in pinnacle apartments it was not in the right condition, the washing machine was broken and many other things were not working. They forced me to pay off the outstanding energy balance left behind by the previous tenant . Now as I am about to leave they show no understanding or consideration. I will be following this review up with regards to how my move out process is. I strongly recommend against this agency!! They are NOT FOR THE TENANTS!!!!!! They are known for taking your deposit and not returning it over the smallest things ! They are also know for billing you a large amount if you use their zero deposit scheme. Most people dispute this through TDS.

Paul would be happy to help you resolve your problems, we always strive for customer satisfaction and clearly we have not kept our end of the bargain.

I’ve been carrying out reactive maintenance works and pre-occupation (pre-OC) works for 1stAvenue, and the experience has been excellent. Communication is clear and work is well organised. The team is professional, supportive and always provides the information needed to complete jobs efficiently from the property management team (Skye, Nik, Reese, Josh (Pre oc team), Pheonix). I would be happy to continue working with them and would recommend them to other contractors.

GoogleI have recently moved to Pinnacle Apartments in Croydon through 1st Avenue and experience has been nothing short of amazing. Mr. Prashant Bhoir was exceptional, professional and not only did he showcased the flat, he also took the effort of showing me another flat which was not planned and I ended up finalising the latter. He is clam and patient in response and very approachable. He guided me latter through various amenities, informed me about the all possible cost and was very honest on all my questions. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you for going that extra mile.

GoogleAbsolutely shocked by the scam-like experience with 1st Avenue. We paid nearly £10,000 upfront (deposit, 1 month’s rent, and 6 months in advance) before our move-in date, yet were denied the keys without any prior notice on our move in day. We were left stranded on the streets with all our luggage, leading to a panic attack and an emergency hospital visit. Totally unprofessional, unsafe, and deeply disappointing.
