I was very happy with Benham & Reeves in finding my tenants. I paid 8% commission for their service gladly, but had to pay this over 3 months as the rent came in. They had to advertise, screen tenants, do an inventory and keep a deposit.

i cant appreciate that you quote your version of tenant law and you always trying to justify yourself. Our rights of 'quiet enjoyment' are ignored. You were also trying to not return any deposit by overcharging on everything (450 pounds for repaint one area, 200 pounds for a stain on an IKEA sofa etc.) so that we filed a claim with the deposit protection scheme. While I understand you take commissions from every party you work with (cleaning, repair, building staff, owners), this is my review of my interaction with your business, your relationship with them are irrelevant. Circulating images of my body in the surveillance, taking photos of inside from our windows, knocking at doors are not the way to solve any problem. Nobody in this agency knows how to apologize, and even in the reviews you are trying to taint me instead.If you consider casual harassment as of normal course, please read legislations on your government website Thanks to trustpilot being an open platform I can share my experience with the public. Rented five months a Nell Gwynn House in ChelseaPS: no... up till now still this attitude.. AVOID this company if you don't want to be treated this way don't rent from them.. we are not trashing you. we are exposing you. Every word here is based on evidence. we have VIDEO RECORDINGS of the building staff lingering at our windows trying to take a picture of instead so don't cover up for yourself... we stopped renting because we can't stand the shady things you do. you have not been to law school for one day and acting like you have makes it look worse. the law is not only for renters and owners.. you said that like you are exempt and no one can regulate you.. money has made you blind and you forget how to act like a human.

GoogleI came across the Benham & Reeves Estate Agents in Surrey Quays agency through a Rightmove listing for rental properties.
I have been dealing with estate agents for the past 20 years and I can safely say that this has been the most professional letting agency I have come across so far (and in London that is not easy to find). I highly recommend it due to interactions in the following areas:
Viewing process experience: Anna, the letting agent that showed me the property, was outside the property at the agreed meeting time, was very knowledgeable about the property and what the neighbouring area had to offer to someone moving there.
Letting agent communications: Whether I dealt with the letting agent directly or other members of the Benham & Reeves team, all were professional and crystal clear in their communications and managed my expectations well in terms of what was required in respect of information and timelines to provide it or expect it.
Moving day experience: Prior to moving day, Anna explained clearly what the rules were for movers coming to development to help with the move. This made the move straightforward and the letting agent even assisted on the day when the movers arrived early at the property.
Contract drafting and signing experience: Although the contract went through a couple of drafting rounds, this was a very straightforward experience due to clear responses to my queries and clear communication on the amendments required to accommodate the wishes of the landlord.
Clarity of fees and payments: From the initial deposit to take the property off the market to the funds required to complete the process, it is was always clear to me both specific payments and the overall total amount required to pay to move into the property.
Handling of queries and liaising with landlord on my behalf: In respect of requests to fix minor issues in the property these were handled promptly in the pre-contract period and without a need for reminders.

GoogleWhen I was looking for a place to live they really helped me very quickly and told me everything, everything was great. But when I started renting an apartment the problems started. I have not had heating for 5 months and they are trying to solve this problem. Every time they send new repairmen and they just leave without doing anything. This is a terrible service, I have been paying huge amounts of money for 5 months and they cannot even provide normal service. And they do not offer any compensation and pretend that this is how it should be. I tried to solve the problem through the landlord and contact him, but they hide his contacts from me. I am extremely disappointed with such support and ability to solve problems.
