We had an excellent all-round experience with Hawes & Co. We let our house out with them for seven years, throughout which time they were highly efficient in every respect. They twice found us excellent tenants very quickly. Any maintenance issues were swiftly and efficiently dealt with. The Lettings team knew us, the tenants and the property well and were extremely efficient and helpful at all times. When we recently came to sell the house, Sarah Walker and her team did an excellent job of marketing the house effectively to achieve a good price. The Sales and Lettings teams worked closely together to produce timely information that made the sale a smooth process. We called out three Agents to value our family home for probate, from the outset Richard stood out from the two other Agents with his knowledge and willingness to advise us on the process, over the 3 months he called monthly to check on probate and update on the market, never once did he push us or act “salesy”. When we were ready to market Hawes and Co was the obvious choice, after an open house we sat down with Richard who went through all the offers with us and who was most secure in his opinion, we had regular updates of the sales process all the way to exchange . I would gladly recommend Richard and his team to anybody looking to sell and need advice or hand holding

A refreshing experience. We all know the property market is crazy at the moment. However Sara Cornish and the lettings team in Surbiton were absolutely brilliant. Flexible viewings, minimal stress and quick answers from the landlord all orchestrated by Sara. I’m now in a lovely premium flat at a reasonable price. Oh she didn’t try to rinse me on the rent either! A good deal. Would definitely use again.

Excellent sale with Hawes & Co. Michael was really positive and enthusiastic about our property and filled us with confidence that he’d be able to sell. Michael had a lot of knowledge and detailed understanding of the freehold/leasehold and we were pleased that himself and Dovy did all of the viewings for us. For the most part, Michael and Dovy were great at keeping us updated and supported us throughout the sale. However, we found that the communication did drop slightly in the middle part of the sale and there was some confusion/mix up with the valuation. We recognise however that this was a very busy time to be moving and appreciate that Michael and Dovy really pushed to progress at the end of the sale when our buyers solicitors were holding the process up. It was March when we decided it was time to move after 27 years. We shopped around for an estate agent and this is where we met Sarah Walker of Hawes and Co. She listened to what we were seeking and made valued suggestions. The pandemic hit so we stopped as we did not want strangers in the home. The first wave passed and we contacted Sarah who assured us that they were very Covid aware and followed very specific rules. We put the house on the market and it sold within 2 days. We fully believe a lot of that was down to Sarah and her team's hard work in the background. We next met Liana Cornock who looked after our sale. Communication was excellent and all parties were kept informed and the processes necessary for a sale were systematically gone through. We have had nothing but a good experience and would recommend Hawes and Co and in fact did so to a near neighbour who in turn are equally as pleased. Moving home can be stressful in normal times but Sarah and her team worked hard in the background moving our sale successfully forward to exchange. We found this branch excellent. Having looked at many properties with a lot of other local agents we were not happy with the way they conducted business at all. We then saw a property with Hawes and Co Surbiton. Dovy showed us round the property and was very engaging and just a lovely chap! The whole process from beginning to end was smooth and we didn't feel like we were being lead on. We later realised Sarah was the manager of the branch and had done business with her in past. She was and is very professional and amicable which is always helpful in this business. We would give them this rating even whether or not our offer was accepted as their service was clear, fair and transparent. We chose Hawes & Co after putting our House up for sale last year. Michael Gibson came to sell their company to us and we were very impressed! After haggling with the percentage rate, we agreed and were delighted with the response we got, we actually sold the house almost immediately, but through no fault of theirs or ourselves, It fell through but immediately was put back on sale and once again we were amazed when we had three Viewings the day after! Prior to listing we spoke with a number of local estate agents and from the outset were very impressed with our sales person Michael Gibson’s understanding of the local market and enthusiasm. My wife and i veiwed a property in Surbiton back in early summer which ticked alot of our boxes. I worked with Sarah and several other staff towards purchasing a property as a first time buyer, which unfortunately fell through due to a price dispute caused by the extent of remedial work. The team were polite and helpful throughout the process and gave realistic advice on what would happen next at each point. Sarah was generally prompt at meeting me at the property (except one instance where I got a call to explain she was stuck in traffic) and several times replied to email despite being on holiday.

Carlsberg don't do estate agents, but if they did, they still wouldn't be as good as Hawes & Co! I was buying so didn't get the choose the agents, but I landed on my feet with Michael Gibson and the team. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael, he patiently walked me through the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly, and pushed things through with the solicitors and sellers when it needed it. To top it off when Michael was away the team (Greg and Sarah) stepped up to help in his absence. As the property was empty they were always willing to give me access for measurements and getting builder quotes, and Suzie should get a mention for patiently waiting for 90 minutes on one such occasion, and coming out despite her cold on another! House buying is stressful so choose a company who will treat you as a human being and not a commission

Hawes Estate Agents, Surbiton (we have dealt with the Manager, Greg, and very mainly with Liana Cornock) have been extremely professional, efficient and friendly. Liana, or anyone in her absence, have immediately dealt with our queries, responded to emails and keep us informed of progress. She has made our house buying process as stress free as possible. Although in the end I didn't purchase my property through Hawes & Co, they were the most professional of the estate agents I worked with whilst property hunting. Greg was really pleasant and really helpful when showing me properties and had a really good idea of what I was looking for. The same can't be said of some of the other agents in the Surbiton area.
