Michael Gibson Excellent Historic Valuation

Michael Gibson the Senior Sales Negotiator at Hawes & Co. in Surbiton, produced a detailed and historic market valuation for Inheritance Tax. He diligently searched to locate similar properties and successfully matched prices which would accord with my house in Mortlake in 2005. Apparently the tax may still be required. He also offered his services in marketing the house for sale and was very persuasive. A first class representative from Hawes & Co.

Excellent Estate agent. Over the past 20 years I have used numerous estate agents in my profession of managing properties and I can truly say that I am impressed with Hawes & Co and their lettings team, especially the manager Toby. They are most professional and genuinely seem to care about their clients and matching the right property with the right tenants, rather than the money.If you have had enough of agents that just push and push and give you the hard sell then this is the agent you should be trying out. It is most refreshing to get good service with no hidden agenda.

We Just bought a property through Hawes & Co. and have dealt extensively with Sam & Sarah who we found to have the right aptitude and business acumen to deal with one of the most challenging circumstances. Not much can else be said but despite the not so savoury reputation haunt Estate agents. Haws & Co. have proven to be one of the most professional firm I have dealt with over a period spanning over 20 years in investing in the property market. Honest and upfront - makes a change

We were very happy with our experience selling with Hawes & Co. Greg and Sam in particular were a pleasure to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble. It was refreshing to deal with an Estate Agent who was honest and frank with us - this made a great difference in comparison to others we were also dealing with at the time. My wife and I were first time home buyers even though we were both in our 40's. The house was a huge investment for us and we had spent quite a long time waiting for the right house to come on the market. Hawes & Co were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and made the whole process smooth, easy and pleasant and we even managed to complete the whole deal in just under 1 month, which I have been told is unheard of. They're a great firm and our main point of contact Greg McHugh, was an absolute star throughout the whole process.

We worked with Hawes to find a rental property in Surbiton. We consulted a number of agencies in Surbiton to ensure we found a suitable property in time. Hawes provided the best service by a mile. Toby listened to our requirements carefully, made good suggestions and was very responsive to every question and request we made. Honest, hard-working and pleasant to work with

We were selling my late mother's house from a distance and the staff at Hawes & Co were brilliant. We got to know all of the staff, all of whom did viewings for us. Greg McHugh was the lead agent and he was so helpful, keeping our sale moving along and us updated throughout. Their initial valuation was spot on. When the time came to find a rental property in the area for my sister, Hawes & Co came up trumps and maintain contact with her. I would not hesitate to use Hawes & Co again should the need arise.

What can I say? The house wasn't cheap, but I wanted to move closer to family. Greg from Hawes came to view and we agreed they would handle the sale. Being cautious though, we had a dual agency. The house sold within a week, to someone Greg had on his list of prospective buyers, but to someone who was not looking at our type of house, and would never have seen it otherwise. On first viewing the sale was made for very close to asking price, and the deal was done before the other agent had anyone through the door. Throughout the sale, Greg helped in advising about the process and helping speed things up. Really can't praise Hawes enough for their selling of our house.

I cannot praise Hawes & Co enough for their incredible customer service and effortless efficiency throughout the successful sale, exchange and completion of my last property in Surbiton. Greg McHugh (Sales Manager) was an absolute star and delivered on all fronts as promised during the initial valuation; he really stood out from the other firms. Hawes & Co also offered the best percentage fee with no additional costs for photography/EPC. Greg and the sales team (Samuel & Vinesh) all worked extremely hard through the whole process. I was impressed just how customer focused the team were and by their level of honesty and integrity; buying/selling a property is definitely one of the most stressful things you'll ever do so having an estate agent you can trust definitely takes the edge off. The whole team were an absolute pleasure to work with and would highly recommend this office to anyone requiring such services in the local area.

Awful company with the most rude and incompetent staff. They were so unhelpful with our property, rarely responded to emails and would never answer questions or concerns and ignore important issues! Unprofessional and there’s a reason they only have a handful of branches! They will work with the worst landlords, and vendors and have no morals, empathy or even an ounce of humanity. Worst experience, recommend using anyone BUT Hawes & Co!
