The Summertown team were really great and helped us make a good sale of our house in a testing market - the photographer was excellent and brochure a really nice production. They were on the ball in getting the house featured and highlighted in on line advertising, especially after we had a buyer pull out on us after 3 months. It wasn't plain sailing, but I'd recommend Breckons as the best people at the helm.

GoogleDo not do business with these people. Untrustworthy, sleazy and disrespectful. If I could, I’d give 0 stars. We were looking for our first home. We found a lovely cottage but after placing an offer, we got that rejected. We moved on and continued with our search. It was a month later when they contacted us again, saying that the other buyer was “crazy and unreliable”. They would call you late Friday afternoon and would refuse to write anything down in an email. Non-the-less, we looked through the poor communication and unprofessional behaviour, as we wanted the house. Little did we know, that the vendor will soon also be called “crazy and unreliable”. Despite twice daily calls for three weeks straight, we felt that we were the middle man between the agent and vendor plus the estate agent’s psychotherapist. Eventually, we had to pull out of the purchase as frankly we got fed up with such treatment. I know there are some positive reviews here, but you wonder what these people are saying about you behind your back.

GoogleMike mentioned £130 for move out. I just add that they charge £240 for move in. Indeed, modern day pirates. Also, they show no concern or sympathy to students. If you're intl student or manual worker or single parent, even worse. If you're vulnerable or ignorant of rent market rules, it's your fault, not theirs. Best properties always go to those privileged and those who have first-hand info. They don't care about your being desperate to find a new home.

GoogleEvent though i was a good tenant for 4 years they deducted some of my deposit due to petty clauses in the tenancy. Be careful if you rent through Breckon and Breckon.

The standard of service received by the Breckon team in Summertown was simply outstanding. They achieved the full asking price for the property and communication throughout the whole process was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I would recommend them without hesitation.

GoogleThe property I am renting is riddled with black mould and damp and Breckon and Breckon will not help me, I first reported it 9 months ago and have had to chase them up so much since and they’ve still not sorted it. Completely non-existent property management. They are so slow moving it’s unbelievable, you have to chase them and remind them ten times before they do anything, it takes them weeks to do it, and they have left me living in an extremely mouldy damp flat with a small child putting our health at risk for months on end! I would not recommend unfortunately they clearly don’t care about their tenants health.

As a buyer through Breckon and Breckon we received exceptional service from Luke Mazonowicz during the purchase of our new property. What started out as a simple operation eventually extended to a chain of 9 parties and eventually took approx. 5 months to complete. Throughout this period Luke, together with my agent, liaised with all parties involved to hold the chain together despite many unexpected problems.
