You can’t beat Fine and Country

I used the Uckfield branch of Fine and Country to help sell my house. I had a number of other estate agents value my house. Fine and Country saw something in my house and valued it highly. Their support, kindness and honesty along the way has been second to none. I am particularly grateful to the staff who worked with me. Such lovely people who totally had my back and my interests at heart. I am really grateful for all they have done to support me and my family. THANK YOU! I would highly recommend them.

Sold 3 bed Stamford house through Fine & Country

We recently sold our 3 bedroom townhouse in Stamford with Fine & Country and the experience was excellent. The team is a close knit, friendly and supportive group who are consistently responsive and helpful. The rate was competitive and included a brilliant photographer and a fantastic property brochure for prospective buyers. One of the team, Christine, conducted all of our viewings after getting to know the house. She talked us through feedback and made suggestions as to how we might improve the buyers experience. The offer process was managed well and we were very pleased with the sale price. All in all a great experience

We were delighted with the service we received, especially given that it was in a difficult period which involved the covid pandemic and lockdowns. All the staff we dealt with, were very helpful and promptly followed up on what they said they would do and kept us in “the loop”. After trying another local, agent first, who was absolutely useless, and did not sort out any issues, totally unprofessional and even lied , we then chose Fine and country. i can certainly say the lady involved was so helpful, and arranged everything, which we did not have before with the other agents.The video was supurb, and the property was sold and completed before the stamp duty relief ended.I would certainly have no problem using this company again. My experience was with the Sutton Coldfield office. well done.

Where to begin

Where to begin ? Liz and Nicola at the Rugby office of F&C found us our buyer when the previous agent had failed miserably . They secured the sale by being efficient , keeping both us and our buyers up to date at all times , and liaising between solicitors etc.. Achieving a sale is usually fraught with uncertainty but both did their utmost to minimise this and to relieve the stress . At all times they were friendly and re-assuring. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about them and would recommend their services to anybody wishing to buy or sell a house . I'm almost sad it's all over ( not really!! ).

Nick at Fine & Country, Bedford supported us in our house purchase. He doesn't come from the same mould as most estate agents, which made him a pleasure to deal with. Great Service from Fine & Country

We put our property on the market with Fine & Country last September, after speaking with a number of local agents. Our property was significantly undervalued by Harwich and Village Homes so it was a relief to receive a valuation close to where we thought the property should be marketed and demonstrated that a local firm can be too local. This, along with a competitive fee, made the decision to go with Fine & Country over the other high street agencies we also spoke to an easy one. The communication and responsiveness of the team was excellent from the outset and we received multiple offers for our property within two weeks. The quality of the photographs and particulars they produced was outstanding and clearly instrumental in developing the high levels of interest our property received in such a short period. Paula McCartney became our main point of contact seeing us through some difficulties and we couldn't be more pleased with the service she and Fine & Country provided - she was in regular contact, was always easy to get in contact with, gave sound advice at all stages of the sale and went the extra mile for us. We ended up achieving a sale in excess of the asking price and significantly over the other valuations previously provided. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fine & Country and Paula McCartney. We are very glad we decided to instruct them.

Consistently polite and professional

Great property purchase with Fine & Country Northampton! Marie facilitated the purchase and made the process unbelievable smooth. Had 4 other properties fall through due to bad estate agents or solicitors. However Marie, was fantastic, she helped to keep everything on track from fast tracking the survey, ensuring survey findings were resolved promptly, etc. My hopes are that Fine & Country happen to be selling my next property so I have the pleasure of working with them again!

Called up to request a viewing on a property to be told an offer had been accepted the day before. My partner rang a couple of days later to be told an offer had just been accepted so a different story.Some three weeks later, the property still appears to be on the market on their website and on Rightmove.The branch in question is Staffordshire and, as of today, the property is still not showing as ‘Under Offer’

Our country equestrian property has recently been sold by Vanessa & Halina at the Worcestershire office. Both ladies were professional and extremely helpful. Communication was good and they both spent considerable time getting to know and understand the property. The marketing was first class including brochures and videos and they worked hard at finding the right buyers and not carrying out viewings for the the sake of it, for example buyers looking for more land than was available which in turn limited wasting time for all involved. Can highly recommend these ladies.

Sale of my house

This was a positive experience and had a good outcome. The fact that Covid-19 reared its ugly head just as I decided my house was ready to go on the market was no-one's fault but it did affect the length of time the whole process took, which was unfortunate. I would have very much liked things to have happened more quickly but accept that as far as I'm aware, in all circumstances, everyone was doing their best despite the difficulties.

The team at the Woodbridge branch were friendly, polite and attentive at all times.They promptly responded to any queries I had.Selling a house during a pandemic is not an easy task, but Mike and Michael took the appropriate careful measures to show potential purchasers around the house. I was a bit disappointed with price that was finally achieved, during a time when the market was very active. House valuation was at £765000 and price achieved was £720000.Maybe looking more carefully at initial valuation would avoid this.“Sellers views” is a good idea giving potential purchasers from out of the area a picture of local facilities and activities. Suggesting I do that when you first took on the property may have made for a quicker sale.Overall I was very pleased with the service Fine and Country offered and would be happy to use you again.

Our sale went on sale in Derbyshire initially in the autumn of 2020. We instructed two agents and the response from potential purchasers was very limited.We realised that we had to think differently, and so Fine & Country was approached since it promised a superior style of marketing. We were not disappointed. The results of the move to Fine & Country were immediate, with a greater number of hits on the web pages which translated into myriad viewings. We sold our house a few months after we had instructed this agency and the sale was at a price greater than the guide price issued by Fine & Country.Fine & Country's local representative, Pip Holden, took complete control of the process; she organised the specialist photographer, the filming of the video and the design of the brochure, (each of which was of an exceptional quality). In addition, Pip presented an engaging piece to camera for the website and advised us on the best way in which the house could be shown to its maximum advantage. Throughout the process, Abigail in Fine & Country's local office provided outstanding support; her organisational and communication skills are second to none.The commission charged by Fine & Country is higher than the other agencies on the High Street. However, the seller benefits from the superior service and the dedicated, personalised attention of an experienced agent. Pip managed all of the viewings, kept in touch with prospective buyers and secured much interest in the property throughout the sale process.At all stages of the sale process we were delighted by the service from Pip, Abigail and Fine & Country throughout. Should we be looking to sell our home again I would not hesitate to give the business to Fine & Country again.

First Class service from A Top Team

First Class service from Freddie, Katie, Declan and Mandy from the beginning. 2 excellent offers very close to the asking price and regular updates by telephone and email confirmation. The team were always professional, polite and in most cases returned calls the same say or within 24 hours. Compared to the experience with some of the big “National names” F&C were Premier League and the other League 2 despite the fee quotes being much higher with the “Big National” companies. I highly recommend F&C.

I tried to view a property in Compton…

I tried to view a property in Compton Martin, I emailed, them and called them 4 times, only on final call a week later they booked me in. Then two days before the appointment they then wanted me to rearrange! I have just sold two properties in The Chew Valley with another agent, who were far more efficient! Sellers also be aware, their contract states that if you pull out of a sale, you have to pay their fee!
