Simply the best...estate agent!

I often read reviews that begin with "I never usually write reviews..." and have to admit that is me all over! However, I feel absolutely compelled to write a review for John Ray based on the incredibly outstanding service he has provided. To say nothing is too much for John would be an absolute understatement. John has taken my calls outside of office hours, on the weekend and essentially anytime I have needed him! Again to say John goes the extra mile would be an understatement. John took the time to ask pertinent questions in order to fully understand our situation and has always explained everything to us every step of the way. He is extremely thorough which is so very reassuring for both the vendor and purchaser alike. He is completely honest, transparent and empathetic. I just wish all estate agents were more like John!

Excellent experience using the Willerby branch.

We have used the Willerby branch of Fine and Country to sell our house again. The service from them is once again excellent. They ensure that the price is the highest achievable and that the buyers are the most likely to proceed with the purchase. From start to finish they keep you informed on what is happening to ensure the whole experience is as stress free as possible. A particular mention to Nicki who we have dealt with on a number of sales now and you could not deal with a more professional, yet personable, individual.

Have recently purchased our new family home through the Fine & Country Willerby team. We had been looking for over 18 months and were on the mailing list so got a ‘sneak peek’ text about it and we’re able to get an early viewing booked in and managed to agree to buy the house before it hit the market. My husband and I have recently completed our sale with Fine & Country Norwich. We cannot speak highly enough of the treatment we received from Helen Plumstead (director), Richard Cross (senior negotiator), Philippa Martinez (after sales manager); and Ellie Needham, Sandra Polytarides (conveyancing assistant) and Heidi Green, who all guided us patiently through the processes involved. Their efficiency, professional service and after sales make them the best estate agents by far from start to finish we've ever dealt with in England. Being novices at selling property in the UK, these individuals even helped us enjoy the viewings and the rewards of a quick sale. Poor communication

We wanted to purchase a house through Town and country. We were the first to offer on a property, we put forward the asking price as no other offers at that point. We were called to say the house had gone no discussion or chance to counter offer, with no comeback, bad practise surely. Offer excepted before speaking to parties involved. Should you talk to all parties before returning to vendor for a decision? I think so

We used Fine & Country for the first time to sell our house. Unbelievably, they sold our house in just two days to the first buyers who came through our door. In life, you generally only get what you pay for and this is so true with Fine & Country. If you want a first class service you really can't get any better than this company. Halina Day and Vanessa Raggett produced the most incredible video that gave our house a head start followed up with an informative brochure. At all times Halina communicated with all parties involved and made herself available to see our sale and purchase through at any time, both day and night. A highly professional company that employs the very best team who look after your needs from beginning to end. I had been looking for a property in Norwich for many months and dealt with a number of other local agents during that process, however, none of those that I dealt with provided the same level service that the Norwich office of F&C provided. I have just purchased a property through them and they were efficient and professional at all times. Never once did my calls go through to voice mail and there was always continuity. I would particularly like to mention Richard Cross of the Norwich office who ensured that the sale and purchase ran smoothly. He dealt with issues as they arose and gave helpful advice throughout. I also loved the write up about the house which included details about its history. This is something very few agents do. I would wholeheartedly recommend F&C to my friends and family.

the Wales, (Narberth branch ) of this franchise is operated on a a totally unprofessional basis, With its insincere attitude towards clients plus the lack of communication skills and businesses etiquette, which is totally unprofessional . This brings the respected name of fine & country into total disrepute, through this total attitude and disregard of customer care it has lost this franchise 2%( higher than most other estate agents) a possible commission on a potential sale of 2 properties estimate value £2.3 million.This attitude sets a really bad example for the people employed at this branch who are forced to make excuses on behalf of the management for the lack of their interest in anything regarding decency and professionalism

Silence from Fine & Country Complaints

In their 21 July 21 response to my 16 July 21 review, Fine and Country invited us to email their customer complaints department in respect of the concerns mentioned in the review and stated that they would ‘endeavour to resolve’ the situation. They have neither acknowledged nor responded to emails sent to them on 2 & 12 Aug 21 to take up their offer. When I read their response to the initial review, I thought that they might just be about to put things right. Alas - just silence. I wonder if they will put their standard response to negative reviews against this one. Come on Fine & Country, surely this isn’t the kind of customer service that you aim to portray! Looking forward to finally hearing from you, please.

Adam Farrell and Matthew Higgins have shown themselves to be thoroughly incompetent, unprofessional and totally bereft of any integrity. Their ineptitude led to a situation whereby my two daughters and I were left homeless due to the oversight of an issue relating to lease length on a property they were trying to ‘sell’. Basic communication was impossible for them and their professional neglect - not relaying the fact that the property had 71 years left on the leasee - resulted in a delay that left me without a home. They pushed me for an even earlier date for exchange without any recognition of basic facts that affect a sale. Go with Fine and Country at your peril. I can’t vouch for other offices but the Hove branch is run by people that I wouldn’t trust to look after my dog let alone be in charge of sales of properties. Their inability to manage a sale process beggars belief and I would warn very strongly anybody against engaging with this unit of incompetents. I would recommend forfeiting any property you see advertised by these shysters rather than be led down a path which can lead to homelessness. I cannot stress strong enough just how bad they are.

An excellent property obtained in the Mucia region of Spain

I was looking for a property in the Alicante to Cartagena area and sought the help of several local agents. Of the three selected, only one stood out for customer care - Richard and Samantha Oldfield, Fine & Country Costa Blanca South Region. The other two simply offered several properties, most of which didn't meet my requested parameters. Only one of those got back to me with a viewing of a suitable property, then later told me that it had been sold - no alternatives were suggested or proposed for the future. Richard and Samantha did way better, offering properties of the right type, in the preferred price range and location. Viewings of them all followed. I have now placed a deposit on my favourite and expect to get the keys in the near future. Easily the best agents I've come across in Spain.
