We have just rented our first property and were lucky to have been dealing with the team at the Hamptons Stratford-Upon-Avon office. Max was very helpful, professional and responsive from the very start and made quite a stressful time as we were selling our own property in another location, a straightforward process with friendly, helpful advice and prompts. Leah was helpful with all the paperwork involved and thanks to Sharon when we picked up the keys for giving us a hard copy of the inventory as at the time, we had no computer access and without, it would have been difficult to do all the checks. If you are reading this because you are considering using Hamptons to market your house, then don't. Whist they charge a premium price, the service was terrible. Of course promises were made when signing up, though these were never followed through and throughout the process they only added stress and hindered rather than helped things progress. It was clear that our best interests were not first and foremost, and at times it was as if they were acting on behalf of our buyers. I won't name individuals as complaints have already been made to the office (although that was a waste of time), however our agent was there when things were positive, but no were to be found when things got tricky, and generally seemed like he lacked experience, despite being the Assistant Manager. We had to rely on our vendors estate agent to find out things and get advisr. If you are looking for a professional and honest service then I would look elswhere. It is a shame I have to give them 1 star.

Fantastic experience initially with Olivia who found tenants for my empty apartment, incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process and lovely to deal with as well. Even when the tenants moved out at short notice, I had no time to stress as Sharon found a new tenant at lightening speed, and Anna and Katie were also invaluable with helping with the admin side of things and property management. As new tenants taking on a sophisticated property with multiple high spec features we needed to know that if a problem occurred we could rely on the property management team to tackle it with speed, competence and courtesy. We found Olivia to be absolutely superb. Our property process - selling through another agent but buying through Hamptons, was not particularly straightforward, but the level of professionalism, calmness and great communication from Olivia, made a difficult process much less stressful. Whilst her client was our Vendor, Olivia displayed a huge degree of commitment and support to us as well, to ensure the sale went through. I am not sure that would have happened with anyone else, as her solid, professional relationship with the Vendor had earned Olivia a high level of trust, which enabled her to ably navigate through a difficult process.A couple of her colleagues who dealt with our concerns/queries on occasion, in her absence, were also very professional and supportive.
