The way this agency treats tenants is abysmal. The only person we had a positive experience with was Alex, who was lovely and so helpful. We have dealt with an awful landlord who never paid his bills for crucial maintenance (incl. maintenance initiated by himself), leading to debt collectors appearing on our doorstep regularly. And still to this day there are contractor bills unpaid for which we are hassled. Half a year after us moving out (we lived there for 3 years). We are a couple, no kids, no pets, high incomes, never paid a day late, helpful to the community, kept the house in immaculate condition incl. having a weekly cleaner. This agency NEVER did anything to stand up to this landlord taking advantage of his tenants time and time again. We got completely screwed over on our deposit, and they did nothing. Henry Adams should be ashamed of themselves. If you are looking to rent a lovely cottage on Spinney Lane through them, and the landlords name starts with a ''J'', I highly recommend you look for a different house so you are not dealing with this awful landlord who will cause you nothing but financial headaches.

After many years as a tenant with Henry Adams, I can only sing their praises. Every time I raised a question, query or simply just asked a point of clarification, the team have always resolved things quickly and as best as possible. I found them to be proactive and communicate well throughout. I would highly recommend them to tenants as well as to Landlords. The team have always regularly inspected the property and have handled any necessary maintenance quickly and with polite and professional trades every time. Be careful when moving out

They were great when moving in but when it came to moving out tried to make outrageous claims from the deposit and then quickly backed down when it went to dispute. Take lots of photos and evidence would be my advice!!!! Also left us 5 days with water coming through the ceiling!!

I have used Henry Adams Letting Agent at Storrington for approximately 12 years for the letting and finding of new tenants for my property. Recently my flat was vacated. Great experience with renting through Henry Adams

I found Henry Adams to be very professional, approachable and friendly. From the first contact, all the way up to the signing of my tenancy, they were helpful, efficient and down-to-earth with me. Alex Bush went out of his way to ensure that I could get in to my property smoothly, and he couldn't have been more helpful to my parents when they were setting up the guarantor side of things (and the other staff in the office were particularly helpful and kind when my dad thought he had car issues when visiting the office).I would definitely recommend Henry Adams and use again if I have to go for a rental property again (although I hope to be in my property for a long time to come!).
